changedUpdates📢Revamped Opening & Tutorial Texts Revamped the opening conversation with the elder who raised you. Revamped the text for the first conversation with the witch after starting a campaign. Changed the witch's summoning text after the player enters service. Revamped the tutorial battle (duel) control instructions. Revamped the guild tutorial text. Improved the guard and parry explanations in the combat tutorial by replacing them with video demonstrations.
fixedUpdatesCombat Improvements Revamped the reinforcement spawn system. Reinforcements now appear from fixed positions based on their approach direction, and their arrival points are displayed in advance on the battlefield UI. Adjusted overall combat animations, effects including parry, sound effects, and hit stop. Added a short cinematic when a pincer attack occurs. When you perform a pincer attack together with a friendly NPC in battle, that NPC will remember it and may bring it up at the tavern later.

  • Campaign Replay Feature

    • From the second campaign onward, an NPC with the same face and name as your previous protagonist will appear in the world. (They will not appear if you start with the same name.)

    • From the second campaign onward, face, name, and gender are randomly pre-selected during character creation.

  • Map Display Changes

    • Previously, all territories of your nation were shown on the map as soon as you entered service regardless of rank. Now, your nation's territories are only revealed on the map once you reach the rank of "Earl" or above.

  • Added Tavern Ambience

    • Added ambient sounds of patrons conversing in taverns. The level of liveliness varies between towns, castles, and villages.

Specification / Balance Adjustments

  • 📢Redesigned HUD panel icons across the board, improving overall screen visibility.

  • 📢Food Balance Adjustments

    • Increased food production relative to agricultural output, making food shortages less likely during peacetime.

    • Increased damage to agricultural output when a territory is under siege. After a territorial battle, food production drops significantly, requiring domestic restoration.

    • Food shortages now primarily occur in territories with ongoing combat, making the strategic importance of damaging enemy domestic affairs clearer.

  • 📢Significantly increased stats for higher-tier weapons and armor.

    • Equipment now better supplements individual combat power for players and NPCs, addressing cases where they could be outmatched by high-level infantry units.

    • Previously powerful NPCs are now even stronger individually, but can still be defeated with proper parrying.

  • 📢A confirmation prompt now appears when closing the victory panel while unclaimed prisoners or supplies are available.

  • 📢When hiring a vassal for the first time, a red badge now appears on the command icon, making it easier to notice the command actions and tutorial.

  • 📢The option to recruit characters at the tavern is now shown as grayed out (instead of hidden) when their rank is too high to recruit.

  • 📢Improved UI and buttons during character creation.

  • 📢Streamlined the information in the upper-left territory UI panel.

  • 📢Improved visibility of the attention pin icon for characters.

  • 📢Improved visibility of scrollbars across various UIs.

  • 📢Changed the troop count display when invading a territory to the format: allied troops already in battle + player's troops vs. enemy troops, clearly indicating the player's participation.

  • Changed the cropping of character face icons.

  • Added image variations for weapons and armor.

  • 📢Adjusted images for food and trade goods to make them easier to distinguish.

  • 📢Improved player character visibility during field movement by adding an outline.

  • 📢Adjusted the camera so that clouds no longer obstruct visibility.

Bug Fixes

  • 📢Fixed an issue where the player could become unable to act at certain moments.

  • 📢Fixed an issue where ranged units would stop attacking after changing formation during battle.

  • Fixed an issue where defeating an enemy with a heavy attack while they were stunned could send them flying far away.

  • Fixed an issue where character shadows appeared unnaturally short under certain rendering settings.

  • Implemented other minor bug fixes.
