ESO’s First Event Zone

Season’s Zero Night Market is now live, and Tamriel’s adventurers can begin their expeditions into a new-and-perilous part of Fargrave and Oblivion. Vanishing for long periods of time, the Night Market is accessible only during a limited window, inspiring a rush of would-be explorers, adventurers, and treasure hunters. If that list includes you, the Night Market is now open during Season Zero from April 29 until June 17 and is free for all ESO players. Fear not, while access is only available during this limited-time window, you will have more opportunities to plunder explore the Night Market in future Seasons.

Entering the Night Market

As mentioned above, all ESO players have access to the Night Market free as part of Season Zero. There is no additional purchase required to enter the zone, experience any of its activities, or earn its rewards (including unlocking a new player home). Steam post image Prepare to enter the Night Market You can access the Night Market zone by:

  • Teleporting directly to the Starlit Plaza Wayshrine by opening Fargrave from your map and selecting the “Event Zone: Night Market” point of interest.

  • Traveling to Fargrave via the portals in Greenshade (in a cave outside Marbruk) or Blackwood (behind the Great Chapel in Leyawiin) and then finding the Curator within Fargrave's Shambles district (who will grant you the zone’s main questline).

  • Kicking off the Night Market main questline via the Crown Store by navigating to the Crown Store UI, selecting Quest Starters, then Events, and finally selecting the quest titled "Those Who Would Rule." From that point, the quest points the way!

Factions and Favor

At the head of the pack plundering this new zone are three factions: the Glittering Goad, the Thousand Eyes, and the Ruckus. Each faction is different in aspect but alike in aspirations, as each are vying for control of the Night Market’s secrets and riches. When you first enter the zone and begin its main storyline, you must choose which of the three to support. Make your selection carefully, as your choice will shape your experience of the new zone. Activities and Challenges

Within the Night Market and its three distinct districts, you’ll discover no shortage of adventure. As a PvE zone, the Night Market is packed full of unique quests to complete (including main, side, and daily quests), characters to meet, challenges to overcome, and rewards to earn. Steam post image Team up to overcome the Night Market’s monsters Note that many of the event zone’s challenges were designed for groups in mind, so be prepared for a tough fight if you’re venturing into the zone solo.
