We might have dozed off for the past two years due to professional and personal reasons, but we decided it’s time to finally get up, have breakfast, and get back to making things. And as a result, we present to you the latest Alpha Build of our demo, which includes:

  • an expanded brawl scene in the building, now featuring a ground-floor level and street,

  • a brand new speedrun level with a global leaderboard where you can compete in three categories: Score, Time, and Pace,

  • the addition of a player mechanic for stunning and finishing off enemies,

  • improved level balance and navigation flow,

  • small interactive elements in the main menu,

  • and overall, it’s a lot bloodier.

But we’re not stopping here - we plan to deliver two more builds: Beta and Final.

We’re aiming to release the Beta Build around late October to early November. You’ll be able to try its first samples during PGA 2025 (Oct 24–26), where we’ll be exhibiting thanks to Indie Games Polska. The Beta Build will include:

  • an additional government facility level with an entirely new enemy type,

  • a door mechanic with actual physical doors in the levels,

  • an environmental destruction system,

  • improvements to UI/UX intuitiveness,

  • and additional music and sound effects.

We plan to deliver the Final demo version by the end of this year, which will feature:

  • a collectibles system,

  • a possibility to change the hero's clothes,

  • a working in-game web browser,

  • overall polishing of everything included in the previous builds,

  • and possibly an extra speedrun level.

We hope to finally bring you the demo vision we dreamed up a few years ago, and one that you’ll enjoy as much as we do!

Take care and enjoy, Troubadour Collective
