The Declassifier changes
Hi!
We're rolling out an update to the current demo build based on the feedback we've been getting:
several changes to light batching in the scenes, leading to noticeably better performance (looking at you, Junkyard)
fixed the possibility to spam kicks in a quick succession that also froze player movement as a side effect
tweaks to some VFX and a few sounds
breakable walls now cast shadows properly
- rework of the baseball batmore responsive (less frames of a windup) attack, slightly wider attack arc, animation changed to be less of a 'bonk bonk off to the horny jail' (shoutout to our stick-swinging consultant)
added taunting (keybind: T), allowing to add insult to injury
the pipe bomb now explodes more glamorously and can destroy light sources
enemies are now more responsive to the sounds of both gunshots and bullets flying by, making them react aggresively to gunfights
updated how AI pathfinding reacts to destroyed walls, making the enemies rather angry when a nearby wall is blown up, as well as less afraid to walk through the debris and hunt down the player
ricochets! bullets hitting walls at certain angles now have a chance to glance off
