This update focuses on smoothing out some of the gameplay that might feel grindy & drag on a bit. There are also more visual and audio aids so there is not a complete reliance on the Wisp ability.

This update focuses on smoothing out some of the gameplay that might feel grindy & drag on a bit. There are also more visual and audio aids so there is not a complete reliance on the Wisp ability.

  • If a Save File exists that is further progressed, you now get a prompt before being allowed to save over it.

  • Japanese Localization updated.

  • Fixed an Artifact that could potentially spawn under a rock in Act 5

  • Main Menu buttons adjusted, this may fix some instances where the mouse wouldn't align correctly.

  • Fixed the UI Element for "Spirit Attack" charges. It would disappear when moving to the next Act.

  • Runic Stones have indicators to let you know how many have been activated in the level. (90 Stone Achievement still only completable in a single playthrough)

  • Wisp Trail lingers for a little longer to make it easier to follow.

  • Footsteps should be audible now.

  • Fixed Bug with Runic Stones in the Prologue Levels, not saving properly & not remembering which were interacted with.

  • Fixed a Bug in Act 1 where after delivering the Flowers, the accompanying Vision could sometimes not activate after Saving and Reloading the game.

Artifacts:

Artifacts stand out a bit more to hopefully reduce reliance on the Wisp ability, which also helps reduce Essence grind.

  • Artifacts have a larger particle effect and some lighting effect to help stand out even more

Visions:

Four updates to Visions to assist players in locating them more easily and be less reliant on Wisps, helping to reduce Essence Grind and also speed up play:

  • Particle FX Update for unmasked Visions, more particles in a wider area of the Vision.

  • A new sound effect plays when you interact with an Artifact. This sound effect comes from the direction of the newly unmasked Vision.

  • A large particle effect plays when a Vision is newly unmasked

  • Pillar of Light is much larger & higher, can be seen from greater distances away.

Spirit Rush:

Spirit Rush ability is available 1 level sooner and will propel the player further and faster after reaching tiers 2 & 3.

  • Spirit Rush ability now acquired after summoning 25 animals at the Tree, instead of 50 (Ability can now be acquired in Act 1)

  • Spirit Rush ability has a tier 2 & 3 which increase distance/speed once 50 & 64 animals have been summoned at the tree

Corporeal:

Item tasks and a few Visions required a lot of Essence due to Corporeal expiring quickly. Duration is now twice as long. (Note: Duration improves as more Runic Stones are interacted with, this has always been a feature).

  • Corporeal duration lasts twice as long, helping to reduce Essence requirements for certain tasks
