This mirrors the heart of The Book of Aaru — an isometric rogue-lite set in an evolved ancient Egypt, blending myth and sci-fi with procedurally generated dungeons, handcrafted traps, and rhythmic dual-wielding combat. You survive the chaos, and now you get to shape the calm.

How It Works The Bastion remains your non-combat hub — but now it’s also a late-game system with real utility:

  • Decorate your sanctuary with tile floors, glowing braziers, ornate rugs, and ancient columns.

  • Spend leftover materials from your expeditions to build decorations and clean up the ruins.

  • Get rewarded in return by scavenging leftover scrap from old furnishings — converting low-value materials into more useful ones.

This turns your safe zone into a strategic exchange system, letting you fine-tune your inventory and make the place your own. It's not just meta-progression — it’s personal.

Watch the Transformation See how your Bastion could transform in our latest video:

From rubble to resting place, watch the changes unfold with each placed object and flickering fire.
