addedGet ready for some new twists in the dungeons of The Book of Aaru! We've added special, magic-infused enemies to the mix, which should make your fights even more interesting and require some fresh thinking.
addedNow, as you explore the dungeons, you might run into these tougher foes. They'll put up a fight, but taking them down will reward you with some sweet loot to upgrade your hero. This adds a new layer to your roguelite adventures in ancient Egypt!
addedTwo of these new baddies follow a pretty classic setup: a Tank and a heavy Damage dealer. When you see the Tank, be aware that its health will automatically regenerate. The Damage dealers are seriously dangerous, hitting for double damage – which can really hurt, especially with certain demons. So, these units should shake up your usual tactics. It's probably a good idea to focus down the Damage dealer ASAP. As for the Tank, you might want to leave it until last, as it can heal through the fight if you don't keep the pressure on.
changedThe last of the special units is connected to your in-game Time Bending ability. These enemies have a shield you need to get rid of before you can damage them. You can just attack them to do this, but it's slow and not very efficient.
addedThe best way to break these shields is to use your Time Bending ability when you're close to the enemy. This will instantly destroy their protection! This also makes the Time Bending ability feel more connected to the rest of the game, adding another strategic element to your isometric action.
