addedPersistent Items!The transition from Demo build to Full build has been divided into 3 major updates, Items, Entities, and Maps. I'm happy to announce a large portion of the planned items have been added to the game, and a rarity system has been assigned. "Common" items", like almond water, snacks, and sanity pills, will remain the same and are lost upon death. "Uncommon" items have been added, like energy drinks, and the fidget spinner, as well as "rare" items which will remain mostly a secret. Uncommon and Rare Items will persist across death, meaning the player can accumulate and save these items over multiple playthroughs, increasing their chances of surviving longer in the Backrooms.

"Common" items", like almond water, snacks, and sanity pills, will remain the same and are lost upon death. "Uncommon" items have been added, like energy drinks, and the fidget spinner, as well as "rare" items which will remain mostly a secret. Uncommon and Rare Items will persist across death, meaning the player can accumulate and save these items over multiple playthroughs, increasing their chances of surviving longer in the Backrooms.
The fidget spinner will dramatically reduce sanity loss while being spun.
The ear muffs are an equipable item that will prevent sanity loss from buzzing lights, but will also make it harder to hear entities.
