The Albion Plague changes
We are Vulpes Artica!
Very soon we will be releasing a content-rich DEMO for our new game: The Albion Plague.
We truly hope you will enjoy it and, above all, appreciate the work behind it!
We are a small, all-Italian indie team. We formed in 2024 and today we are closer than ever to publishing our very first game. The challenges along the way have been many, but we believe we have learned a great deal throughout these months of development.
Our community is not yet fully established, but we have managed to attract a small group of passionate players, whom we had the pleasure of hosting at our booth during Milan Games Week, where we were able to exchange ideas and feedback with them.
From that meeting came our determination to improve The Albion Plague, adding new content and refining the assets to ensure an experience more intense than ever before!
The Albion Plague
Many demanding challenges still lie ahead, but we have overcome the greatest ones! Development is progressing very well, and we are proud to announce that the First Chapter will be released within Q2 2026.
The game will feature approximately three chapters, all planned for release within the same year, and will unfold a rich and carefully crafted story. Each of you will be able to weave your own narrative thread with ease, and no playthrough will ever be the same as the last.
This is our promise, and we are committed to making the game a pleasant surprise for both genre enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
We will treat the remaining chapters as DLCs, in order to provide a fully playable experience from the very first click. We have deliberately chosen notto rely on Early Access, as we believe it would compromise the experience as we envisioned it and prove too dispersive as a system (despite firmly believing it is an excellent solution for other types of games).
A Content-Rich Demo!
We have decided to make the entire Prologue available (just under half of the First Chapter) to allow you to understand whether the game is right for you and whether you would like to continue placing your trust in us.
Our DEMO lasts approximately one and a half hours, but you may easily exceed two hours if you choose to explore every corner of Ulma, the city in which The Albion Plague is set, in meticulous detail.
Replayability is very high, and some of you may wish to follow different paths that will lead to… unexpected endings!
Lastly, we would like to thank everyone who has already placed their trust in us and supported us throughout these months of development. We hope to reach as many people as possible to share our great love for video games.
We remind you that the Demo will be released on Thusday, February 10th.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
