I’ll be posting updates here regularly so you know exactly what to expect from the game. Today’s update brings a lot of exciting changes, new features, and important fixes.
New Systems & Gameplay
Frost System: You can now slow down enemies! Dealing damage with frost-related upgrades will chill your foes, turning them blue and reducing their movement speed.
- SynergiesWe’ve added powerful combinations! If you combine Bio-Warfare with Frost , you’ll unlock Blizzard , providing a much larger area of effect and extra damage.
EXP Orb Merging: To keep the game running smoothly even during intense battles, nearby experience orbs will now merge into a single, larger orb. You can easily tell their value by their color: Green, Orange, or Red.
Weapon Evolutions (Max Level)
Reaching the maximum level with your class weapon now grants unique bonuses:
Junior Developer: At max level, you unlock the Second Keyboard. This allows you to dual-wield and attack enemies behind your back.
Artist: At max level, your attack changes to Burst Fire, shooting 3 projectiles at once for better crowd control.
Balance & Visual Improvements
Hard Mode Updates: The Hard Mode toggle is now larger, making it much easier to navigate with a gamepad. Additionally, the stage background will now change color when Hard Mode is active, giving you clear visual feedback.
- Better ScalingWe’ve reworked the Player Aura. It now scales much better with your other stats, ensuring it remains powerful throughout the run.
- Improved PhysicsKnockback has been fixed. Weapons now feel more impactful, and enemies react correctly to the force of your hits.
General Balance: Adjustments have been made to Power-Ups, the Tutorial, and Bio-Warfare to provide a fairer challenge.
