addedDue to the sheer amount of updates and changes across many elements of the game with brand new frameworks and systems I envision this being up on the beta branch for a few weeks while I iterate based on feedback and polish before getting back to the regular weekly updates that most of the project has gone through.
addedThis is such a core change to the game and since it persists over the course of in game weeks I want to make sure it's really fleshed out which is why it's taken so long. In order to test this out the Crown Of Ash has now been added. This has shifted from an undead story line to more of a cultist story line to give them some more background while still incorporating some minor undead elements.

Adventurers,

A new update has been pushed to the beta branch adding a lot of new features and the overall framework for the world crises events.

Due to the sheer amount of updates and changes across many elements of the game with brand new frameworks and systems I envision this being up on the beta branch for a few weeks while I iterate based on feedback and polish before getting back to the regular weekly updates that most of the project has gone through.

This is such a core change to the game and since it persists over the course of in game weeks I want to make sure it's really fleshed out which is why it's taken so long. In order to test this out the Crown Of Ash has now been added. This has shifted from an undead story line to more of a cultist story line to give them some more background while still incorporating some minor undead elements.

To even choose this the new game start options have changed a bit.

New Campaign Starts

Character creator will now still allow the ability to create a customized member with your own chosen stats however the team creator will allow you now to truly customize your starter party more cleanly without having to go through the character creator questions. Steam post image

New Crisis Window

A quick crisis view window has been added if you are ever confused on next steps along with the crisis current objective shown in the top right corner. Steam post image

If you ignore the conflicts towns can be at risk, Steam post image At Risk - Actions based on the current crisis will need to be resolved Steam post image Controlled - Town is locked down you need to battle to free the town Steam post image Lost - The town has been lost until the full crisis has been completed. Each crisis week is set to 7 days. I plan to make this changeable unless feedback suggests it's just good, but I don't envision this ever being a shorter time period.

There are many elements as well such as defending towns with new battle maps. Fighting new world events, searching for elements etc. Nothing holds your hand in solving the issues, but they aren't hidden on the map either and aren't tied to any fog of war systems.

Also, there are some font overhauls as well in the patch to hopefully clear things up for the other languages as well. Thank you all for your patience and happy adventuring!
