Q&A

Alongside the many valuable pieces of feedback and suggestions we have received, we have also had a number of questions about the game. Today, we would like to answer some of them here.

Q: How long is the full version? Will there be different endings? Will the gameplay stay the same as the demo later on?

A: A first playthrough will take around 10–12 hours. There are six main endings in total.

Building on the demo, the gameplay will become more complex, with more rules, documents, tasks and usable tools. However, the overall gameplay structure will not change significantly.

Q: After the game is complete, will there be DLC or an endless mode?

A: Currently we don't have one. We are planning to add an endless mode to the base game in the future. There are currently no plans for DLC.

Q: Could we perhaps get an art book?

A: If people are interested, perhaps! We have a lot of early concept material and unused drafts.

Q: Will controller support be added? I would like to play with a controller.

A: Most controller interactions are supported. The game can also be played on Steam Deck, although some text may appear very small in certain languages.

Q: Will there be more story and interactions for A01, or more stories about other characters, the protagonist and everyone’s endings?

A: A01 was originally designed as a tutorial character, so they do not appear very often in the main storyline. What we can reveal is that A01 will appear as an important character in a mysterious scene.

The game’s story is now largely finalised, but if we feel that additional content is needed later on, we may add more story content for certain key characters.

Q: Will there be a special story with A01? A romantic one, perhaps?

A: Why would anyone want a romantic storyline with their boss?!

Q: What is the official stance on fan works?

A: We would be very happy to see fan creations. Fan works are more than welcome, as long as they are not intended for large-scale commercial profit.

Q: What happened to the writer to make them write something this painfully realistic...?

A: When we first started making the game, we were fresh graduates looking for jobs ourselves. For beginner creators, it is usually easier to start with the experiences closest to home.
