MicroProse Publishing Announcement

Hello all!

We at Wield Interactive are proud to announce our publishing partnership with MicroProse!

This exciting opportunity will help us bring the game to a wider audience of RTS fans.

Check out the announcement trailer below!

1.3 Localization Update

Our new partnership with MicroProse has allowed us to continue improving TFC: The Fertile Crescent, and as part of this effort, we are excited to release version 1.3!

Thanks to this partnership, we’ve also been able to add new localizations to the game. With help from professional linguists, we now offer high-quality translations. It was no small task, given that the game wasn’t originally designed with localization in mind. We hope you enjoy it!

The Fertile Crescent is now also playable in:

  • German

  • French

  • Norwegian

  • Italian

  • Polish

  • Portugese (Brazil)

  • Russian

  • Simplified Chinese

  • Spanish

Some of you might wonder why we went to the effort of localizing the game into a less commonly spoken language like Norwegian. The simple reason is that we’re Norwegians ourselves, so we handled that one internally. :)

Steam Deck Verified

The game is now officially Steam Deck Verified! It has always been fully playable on the device, but the only missing piece was automatically opening the floating keyboard when an input field is selected. That’s now been fixed, and you can now enjoy the added confidence that Valve has verified the game to perform well on the Steam Deck.

And More!

We’ve also worked on a wide range of improvements, balance changes, and bug fixes to further polish the overall game experience. Check out the full changelog below for all the details.

This is the most polished version of the game yet, so if you’ve been waiting to dive into some enjoyable Bronze Age gameplay, now’s the time!

Cheers,

  • Team Wield Interactive
