changedTo prepare for future developments, we have had to change the format of save game files. Unfortunately, old save games will not be able to fully load lists of previously purchased vehicles and staff, taxiway-road crossings may need rebuilding, escalator directions may need resetting, and gate linkages reset. We are sorry for the inconvenience that this will cause, however, it will give us better flexibility for the future.
addedGameplay: Added the option to limit the maximum size of aircraft accepted at each individual Apron, Hangar, and Gate (in fact this new option was the first change requiring the aforementioned change in save game format).
changedGameplay: Optimized the aircraft taxiing algorithm. Previously aircraft reserved their whole path upon starting to taxi. This resulted though in some aircraft with only short counterpropagating paths having to wait a long time for aircraft that might be far away. Now, aircraft only reserve the path one segment at a time. This should reduce the overall waiting time for aircraft at busy intersections. However, players should still benefit from designing layouts where aircraft paths don’t have to cross too often.
addedOptions: Added the option to separate landing fees.
changedUI: The game should now display a warning message upon unsuccessful upload of a saved game to the Steam Workshop caused by not having yet agreed to Steam’s workshop subscriber agreement.
