We're Still Alive!
It's been awhile since we've done an update, but don't worry! We're still hard at work on the game!
We've been tirelessly refining to the Concept, Mechanics and User Interface of Terminal Error, and the game is finally taking on it's final form. Stay tuned to our more frequent updates in the coming weeks, but for now, you'll have to settle for a quick look at our more polished Point-and-Click elements!
Minigames, Dialogues and Movement
To start off, we've streamlined the minigames, splitting them into layer stages for Players to go through. You'll find objects to observe, items to pick up, posters and notes to look at and even devices to tinker around with in our new and improved minigame system.
Alongside improving the minigames, we've also touched up on the dialogue aesthetic and taken much time to make it cohesive with our new overworld interface.
Lastly, we've starkly changed the 'looking around' mechanic since our Demo. We found the 360 movement to be quite messy and often times troublesome. As such, we've opted to replace it with a clearer and more straightforward turning system, allowing Players to focus on a few curated camera positions for each standpoint.
Terminal Error has really come a long way since we first started, and it's really exciting that the game is taking on a truly unique shape now! We sincerely hope to push out our Early Release Before Halloween this year, so please stick around!!!
