Colours & Moods

The key idea behind our aesthetic change was to add more atmosphere into the game through utilising stronger and more distinct.

Next Steps?

Now that we're mostly satisfied with the looks, our remaining checklist is:

(1) In-Game Animations: We'll be finishing up all 3D animations for the world while also introducing all new 2D animations to help with world building and setting the atmosphere

(2) Monster & Boss Behaviour: Behaviours will also be revisited and completed to finally round off the survival-horror-like element and combat aspect of the game

(3) Mechanics & Flow: Tying all the gameplay elements and mechanics together will also be done up to ensure full playability, optimised gameplay and create the most engaging experience we can.

(4) Playtest: A few final rounds of internal and external playtesting will be carried out to fix remaining bugs, introducing needed clarity in the gameplay and finishing off this iteration.

Expect a fresh update around the time of the Summer Sale, with an almost complete version of Terminal Error: Chapter 1.
