Tawa : Lost in Time changes
🦊 Tawa: Lost in Time — Weekly Devlog
A lot has changed this week!
The biggest focus has been on making the game feel more like a real adventure, with clearer objectives and better progression.
Naya is now at the center of the gameplay, with Tawa travelling alongside her as a companion. I’ve continued improving combat, creature reactions, hit animations and the way dinosaurs interact with each other.
The quest system has also received a big update. Objectives are now displayed directly on the screen, and the compass can guide the player toward nearby points of interest without showing too many markers at once.
The beginning of the first level is also becoming much more structured. The player will now progress through objectives such as finding Tawa, meeting Phiso, discovering a giant skeleton, exploring the ruins and eventually finding a way out of the valley.
I’ve also been working on the story and dialogues, especially around Naya, Phiso and the mystery surrounding the ancient artifact.
Overall, this week was less about adding random new features and more about connecting everything together.
Explore. Discover. Survive. Move forward.
Tawa: Lost in Time is slowly starting to feel like a complete adventure. 🦖🌿
