Now his apartment has to be cleared out, and you have enough problems of your own. Your work is changing, your future feels less certain than it used to, and the ground beneath your life no longer feels solid.

But among old papers, photographs, work clothes, and forgotten objects, something begins to shift.

Piece by piece, you uncover the life of a man you never understood. You step into his memories, relive the defining moments of his life, and start asking what remains of a person when society decides their work is no longer needed.
