✔ Fixed an issue where Lishana, Amuneth, and Zephyra would randomly change tone like common enemies during duels ✔ Fixed an issue where bosses were not activating their ultimate abilities, affecting combat flow

🧭 OVERWORLD ENEMY SYSTEM — REWORK

✔ Redesigned overworld enemy behavior based on player feedback

✔ Now:

  • Enemies may chase the player, but do not initiate combat automatically

  • Combat only starts if the player attacks first

  • Limited to 1 enemy per map in specific areas

✔ Rebalanced system:

  • Enemies are more durable

  • Significantly increased rewards (Draken and experience)

✔ Tutorial updated to explain this new system

🏰 TOWER OF MARTYRDOM

✔ Stealing from enemies inside the tower has been disabled ✔ Players must now approach this content with preparation

✔ Added more item chests throughout the tower ✔ Trap chests now include a subtle screen shake effect when interacted with

🧠 Boss: Nalrith

✔ New mechanic added to his ultimate ability:

  • Deals low damage

  • Applies Auto Battle status

✔ Effect:

  • The affected character loses control temporarily

  • Actions are executed automatically during the effect

🔊 PERFORMANCE & OPTIMIZATION

✔ Implemented lossless audio compression ✔ Approximate 20% reduction in total game size

✔ Performed a major internal cleanup, removing unnecessary assets and processes

✔ Overall improvements:

  • Faster loading times

  • Lower RAM usage

  • Reduced CPU load

  • Increased overall stability

  • Noticeably better performance compared to previous versions

🎨 UI & VISUAL EXPERIENCE

✔ Complete redesign of the Options Menu ✔ Improved categorization for clearer navigation ✔ Visually polished interface with icons for better readability ✔ Prepared for future expansion with additional options

✔ Menu button is now fixed in the top position ✔ Removed the option to move it

🔇 AUDIO — EXPERIENCE ADJUSTMENTS

✔ Removed sound effects when stamina is depleted or restored

✔ These were no longer necessary, as:

  • The system is clearly represented visually

  • Recovery is noticeable through character movement

✔ Cleaner audio experience with less unnecessary noise

⚠️ COMPATIBILITY NOTE

✔ Steam Overlay (Shift + Tab) may not function properly

✔ This is not a Tales of Miravia issue ✔ It is caused by incompatibilities between Steam Overlay and the Electron engine

✔ The game engine updates more frequently than the Steam SDK, which can cause temporary compatibility issues

✔ This does not affect the core gameplay experience ✔ It will be revisited once Steam improves compatibility
