Notes: For this update the focus is on new features such as newspaer storyline chapters, customer reactions ("gossip?"), terrace area, new creature NPCs, gameplay and controller adjustments and more. Beta 0.1 patch release:

NEW:
- Newspaper StorylineAll newspaper articles have been added and organized into chapters.
NPC Gossip: NPCs now react and “gossip” based on the newspaper article of the day.
Expanded Dialogue: Additional dialogue interactions with NPCs tied to progression.
- New Creature NPCsNew characters introduced to the world.
- Terrace AreaTerrace and related upgrades are now available.
NPC Terrace Behavior: NPCs will now hang out on the terrace once unlocked.
River Rewards: Miscellaneous items can now be caught in the river for extra rewards.
Pastry Tooltips: Pastry inventory now shows detailed tooltips.
Pastry Management: Auto-add and auto-remove all pastries from inventory to display.
Gameplay Adjustments:
Build mode can now be used while the café is open.
Time pauses when build mode is active.
Player can now go to sleep anytime, as long as the café has been opened and closed that day.
Time remains paused until the café is opened.
Customer waiting time increased to allow latte art to be completed at a reasonable pace.
A limit on active decor orders has been added.
Pastries can now only be ordered during the day.
Controller:
Visual controller UI instructions added (with gamepad detection).
Cursor sensitivity decreased during latte art.
Brewing panel navigation sensitivity fixed.
Zoom sensitivity is now based on stick input rather than one fixed speed.
Cancel keybind selection added in settings.
Fixes:
Main menu button text sometimes not appearing.
Parsley NPC sitting animation fixed.
Orders filling automatically on Day 1 without any customers.
“Sell Items” section in the shop now correctly displays selected item information.
Fixed pastry displays being placeable in the bedroom.
Fireplace lag on first ignition resolved.
Fixed customers not spawning after max level was reached.
Cups no longer remain stuck on pastry displays.
Matcha whisk freezing when exiting the brewing panel fixed.
Navigation error when no pastries are available to buy for the day fixed.
Navigation skipping the hot chocolate heater in the brewing panel fixed.
Other:
Miscellaneous UI edits.
Added new SFX (café opening, wrong coffee order, etc.).
NPC section in the journal now shows which day each NPC unlocks.
Locked newspaper articles are now visible in the journal.
NPC collision removed to prevent them from getting stuck.
New scene transition animations.
Terrace ambience sounds added.
Sandbox time slider replaced with a day/night toggle.
Bedroom window is now openable.
Miscellaneous keyboard and controller adjustments.
Extended the café and sandbox soundtracks.
