Tailor Simulator changes
Hello Tailors,
Summer is here, and so is Regular Update #4. This patch brings new Wall Stand functionality, an auto-alignment placement system, expanded painting options, fresh furniture, and a long list of fixes and improvements based on your feedback.
Tailor Simulator is also -55% during the Steam Summer Sale. If you have been waiting to grab a copy or gift one to a friend, this is the moment.
New Features
Wall Stands
Customers and staff can now interact with Wall Stands the same way they do with other sales furniture. Customers can purchase clothes displayed on Wall Stands directly, and your tailors and cashiers can hang clothes onto them as part of their normal routine.
Modular Clothing Stands
Three new modular Clothing Stand pieces have been added: a corner unit, an edge unit, and a wide unit. Snap them together like building blocks to build display setups of any shape and size. The new auto-alignment system locks matching pieces into place automatically.
Expanded Painting
The painting feature has been extended to Wall Hangers, Clothing Stands, and the Sewing Machine. Build a shop that looks exactly the way you want it.

Item Updates
Ripstop
A translation fix has been applied across all languages: "Olive Green" has been renamed to "Khaki." The Khaki color itself has also been re-assigned to a warmer yellow tone that better matches the name, instead of the previous brown shade.
Brocade
The purple Brocade variant previously used blue thread because no purple thread existed in the game. The variant has been re-textured to a pink-leaning purple and now correctly uses pink thread.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
Visual & Display
Lamps no longer appear unlit in dark scenes. They now visually simulate self-illumination through polished materials, without actually emitting world light, to avoid over-brightening rooms.
Fixed an issue where the game would always launch in windowed mode.
Custom monitor resolutions are now detected on launch and added to the in-game resolution list automatically.
Customer Behavior
Customer seating logic has been improved. Rare bugs where customers would incorrectly stand up from chairs or appear to walk while seated have been addressed.
Fixed a rare bug where direct-purchase customers would behave as if they were still waiting for a custom order after buying.
Added a safety check that runs every 5 seconds to prevent direct-purchase customers from getting stuck while waiting for an open register slot. If they fall off the register queue, they are now re-registered automatically.
Staff
Tailors now physically deliver finished clothes to the cashier in the background, instead of transferring them by reference only. The clothes are invisible during this transfer, but the handoff actually happens in the real.
Tailors no longer re-produce clothes that were already in their inventory when the game launched. Existing stock is delivered first.
Fixed inconsistencies between staff inventory and their internal backpack storage.
Fixed an issue where a tailor producing multiple clothes of the same color would unnecessarily return and re-pick fabric between each item. Fabric is now picked up once, all items are produced, then fabric is returned.
Fixed tailors using the wrong color fabric during random or sequential production (for example, cutting a blue item from white fabric).
Tailors now unload their fabric between productions during random or sequential tasks, instead of hoarding fabric in their inventory until the full quota is complete.
Improved the logic for tailors returning materials to the original spot they were taken from.
Fixed a button-handling bug: tailors no longer mistakenly discard an entire button box after only partially using it. For example, a box of 28 buttons used on a 10-slot garment previously deleted the full box; the remaining 18 are now preserved.
Once a tailor is assigned a task and the task UI is closed, the task can no longer be edited (color, quantity, or drop-off location). To make changes, cancel the task and re-assign it. This was disabled to prevent potential bugs.
Tailors now restock buttons at the add-on desk before leaving, mirroring the behavior of the sewing machine.
