General Improvements

  • Replaced several music tracks that didn’t quite match the battlefield vibe.

  • Clarified language around leaders to consistently refer to them as Heroes.

  • Updated demo intro copy for clearer onboarding.

  • Fixed Emerald Ancient not appearing in collections or card packs.

  • Corrected several minor grammatical errors.

Auto Resolve Update

Auto resolve now shows the result of the battle before confirming.

  • Troop health still remains hidden on higher difficulties, so you won’t know if a unit dies.

  • However, you will now see if auto resolving would immediately end your campaign run.

This should make auto resolve feel far less punishing and reduce unexpected run-ending moments.

Gear Buffs

Several gear options were underperforming. They’ve been adjusted:

  • Common Builder – Common unit pack cost reduced by 3 (was 1)

  • Uncommon Builder – Uncommon unit pack cost reduced by 10 (was 2)

  • Rare Builder – Rare unit pack cost reduced by 30 (was 3)

  • Conscription Orders – Common units now gain +4 Melee Attack & +4 Melee Defense (was 1)

These should make builder and swarm style strategies significantly more viable.

Difficulty Modifier Update

  • Replaced “No Gear Drops on Battle End” with “Gear Chests in the Shop are More Expensive” (7 → 9)

The previous modifier was too punishing and limited build variety. The new version keeps difficulty high without killing progression entirely.

Economy Scaling

  • Increased gold rewards as enemy armies scale in difficulty.

  • Increased gold rewarded from ransoming captives using the same scaling logic.

Harder fights should now feel properly rewarding.

Combat Adjustments

  • Modified flank angle calculation:

    • Remains the same for the player.

    • More extreme for enemy units.

This should reduce frustrating edge-case flank penalties while keeping positioning meaningful.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed reset tutorial button not being clickable.

  • Fixed crash when quitting to main menu from battle.

  • Fixed duplicate text on first battlefield tutorial screen.

  • Fixed units getting stuck in run animation in custom battles.

  • Fixed consumables in shop being difficult to click.

  • Fixed “Demo Complete” text positioning on victory screen.

  • Fixed fight battle and autoresolve buttons being unclickable near the bottom of the screen.

  • Added a code change aimed at preventing crashes on Linux.

As always, keep the feedback coming. The feedback form is live and we read everything!

See you in the Tavern. 🍻
