SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising changes
Hey everyone! The next large update is here! With this update we wanted to mainly enrich the attachment system and give some sort of high end goal for each class after level 25. We also worked on controllers, performance and removed the stutters on slow harddrives! We also added Steam Trading cards, Backgrounds and Badges!

NEW RARE ATTACHMENTS:
We added new rare attachments which can occur when using an upgrade kit! (You notice them on their golden color) New Rare Attachment - Wormhole Gen-3 New Rare Attachment - Spreader New Rare Attachment - Eraser Cell New Rare Attachment - Tri-Bolt Cycle New Rare Attachment - Cranial Targeting CPU New Rare Attachment - Ammo TP MK2 New Rare Attachment - Super Heavy Compound New Rare Attachment - Eternium Amalgan New Rare Attachment - Lucky Dangle New Rare Attachment - Multiplier (Old reworked) New Rare Attachment - Hotswap (Old reworked) With the new attachments we wanted to make weapon upgrades less predictable and more exciting, feel more like most other elements of the game. These can be pretty overpowered with the right weapon, but also be way worse, so be careful!
NEW CLASS CHALLENGES
Base Challenge:
Beat the final boss at 140% or higher with a class to get a small bonus for all classes, depending on the class you used!
Insanity Challenge:
Beat the final boss at 180% and madness, tactical and hyper adrenaline at 140% Beating the Insanity challenge grants a small new class perk!
Engineer - (Example) Killing an enemy has a 5% chance to revive it as friendly for a duration Riotguard - ??? Breacher - ??? Sniper - ??? Assassin - ??? Raider - ??? Heavy Gunner - ??? Demolisher - ???
STEAM TRADING CARDS, BADGES, BACKGROUNDS, EMOTES
We added Steam Trading cards (12 Total), a set of Badges and Backgrounds and emotes you can earn by playing! These can be traded and sold on the marketplace.
NEW WEAPON CYCLING
The Q button now switches between the last weapon back and forth, no longer cycles through all buttons - The same counts for the A button on Controller - there is a setting for the old behaviour. (Mousewheel / DPad still switches through weapons as usual)
CONTROLLER
Controller Free look can be activated any time by pressing left bumper, which should be much more convenient! New: Modules / Stat upgrade selection popup now has a D-Pad interface New: Items can now be dropped with the D-Pad and the message is included in the tooltip New: Added aiming helpers on controller
PERFORMANCE
Performance is increased in general and we found and removed the hard stutters that could happen on some machines! - More details further below
Sniper level 0 reworked, no longer grants damage absorption, now has a special shield which starts less shield but gains 20% shield per headshot and gains 3 max shield per headshot kill, which makes early less overpowered and mid-lategame less weak
Sniper level 5 now has an additional passive
Sniper level 15 now has a weaker version of the old damage absorbtion
Sniper prestige is now fixed and grants the pistol firerate properly
Sniper K98 Classic ammo 5 > 4
Heavy Gunner level 25 Missiles now work
LG-2 no longer incorrecly consumes 2 health on shot
Reduced health gain from level 0 by 1 to compensate
Heavy gunner really gets extreme stats at level 5 and with the onslaught system, which seems a bit unfair, now he will have increased item cooldowns as a compensation which is a nerf but does not touch his weapon power
Fixed Heavy gunner reloading LG-2 when at 0 ammo in mag
Special ammo supply starts with one more charge
Engineer now gains double from the first stat upgrade
Engineer level 10 now also has a new passive effect, recycling 10 items grants one extra drone! and further recycling increases Core minimum stacks
Engineer Core drone firerate reduced
Fixed auto overclocker right click instantly removing the buff and dealing damage
Engineer and Sniper drone now should only fire while infight
Reduced time of resonator locations from demo 7 > 5 due to too much clutter
New Item: Brawndo (Found in mystery chests)
Heat Spreader deals more damage
Fixed Acid grenade applying to wrong player when a player walks over
Commando Injection no longer consumes plating
Fan of knives now only triggers infight
High caliber Sniper weapons now deal 25% bonus elite damage (420, 12.7mm, 14.4mm)
Tanks now also are affected by boss damage stat (Sniper weapons, Perks)
Sniperdragon now also deals 25% increased boss damage
P9000, Flamethrower deals slightly more damage
CRX Crossbow no longer generates heat
New ammo: Rubber Grenades - Unlocked when looting a stun ammo weapon
GENERAL CHANGES
Fixed attachments not giving 5% damage anymore, and the damage bonus from attachments Is now properly synced when trading a weapon
Shake and effects from explosions reduced by distance, and reduced in coop
Modules no longer reset from prestige (was unintended)
New setting to turn off starter variants research
APC boss now drops loot every 10% instead of 15%
APC boss now can drop an item at 50% and at 0%
Laserline drones no longer pierce shields, damage 150>250
Fixed active items having 1% chance to not trigger on button press
Lowered spider truck max spider spawns
Fixed around 20 cases of crashes when dying with game over
Divine drops have a new effect
CRX Crossbow no longer produces heat
Varied fixes
KILLS IN COOP
Changed team behaviour on enemy destroy, so now player 2 properly also gets the kills accounted (previously player 2 would have extreme issues getting stacks which were kill based)
Enemy deaths still count as kills for both players
DIFFICULTY
Fragile effect reduced by 50%
Fragile Hp max can no longer go below 200
Reduced enemy aiming speed scaling slightly
PERFORMANCE
We changed how the audiogroups are handled, please tell us if this removed the stutters/hard lags that happen when playing the first time on a new session.
From our tests, the heavy stutters on slower hard-drives are now 99% gone!
Improved missile performance, reduced length of trail, changed colors of varied missiles
Missile trail now is shorter with reduced particle setting, varied missile got slightly different trails
Missile trail now spawns less overlapping trails depending on the setting, reducing trail object amount by factor 2-3 but looks worse, still looking into it
Reduced duration of small fires, meaning less at the same time
The ground color is now baked into the floor surface, increasing performance slightly
Flying dust particles are now affected by particle setting
Drawing of enemies when offscreen is now more performant, and even better in solo play
NEW setting for disabling the background fog, which helps a bit on low end systems
As always there are a couple other undocumented changes. (We will deploy a small patch early next week to fix any leftover issues, and which will enable coop for the madness, tactical and adrenaline mode.)
