0.4.8 patch is out. This is a QOL patch meant to improve the feel of the game.
When placing trails over obstacles, you will now auto place tunnels as well if you have them in your inventory. It prioritizes using the lowest level tunnel.
Improvements to trail placing and rotating. It's more akin to that other game's mechanic. Should be much smoother now.
Deconstructing units and trails is 2 times faster
Halved the time needed to craft units and made boil chamber cheaper to craft
Changed 'No energy' of a forge without fuel to 'No fuel'
Added an error message when trying to place transit pads or stops in wrong places
Increased acid pod attack rate from genetic codes
Adjusted enemy factor to increase faster
Made a couple of steps in the tutorial a bit more clear on how to set snatcher inputs/outputs
Fixed an issue related to a crafting item recipe highlighted wrongly
Fixed repair sound playing for too long and added popup error if you're trying to repair an entity from too far away
Fixed loads of issues related to drones (not available in demo). Drones also use only local supply chests now.
Fixed an issue related to walls not using the correct sprites in some weird edge cases
