Features
Our first batch of Achievements have landed. This set is primarily focused around successful completion of planets.
Ever wonder what that alien you just blasted was all about? The new Enemy Codex lets you browse profile pages for enemies you've encountered. Fill out your collection!
Gameplay
We swapped planet order around for the first system. It’s now Scurvion Alpha, Sub-Zeroni, and Lava Del Rey. Barecuria and Calyspo can still be played in random mode.
Grapple Tongue has been updated to use single-click input and now plays a sound when you miss. Jump input will let you disconnect early.
Hover Beam also uses jump input to exit hover state early.
The Harvester is now invulnerable during extraction — no more last-second deaths while trying to leave!
Tweaked random mode planet selection
Improved respawn system; the /unstuck command now puts you at proper in-world respawn points
Assigned appropriate elemental types to Power Leech abilities
Removed the rank requirement from the top center cell of the Smart Meat Grid
Added visible health models to the Harvester and Battery Charge event
Smarter turrets and minions — improved targeting and behavior
New Meat Torso: Boxface. Deploy Cowboy Boombots at your enemies
Wasp ability and meat polish for feel. Feel more like you can glide around and fall slower
New battery charging event for Calypso map
When first joining another player’s in-progress run, you will now have a chance to pick your equipment loadout before spawning in to join them (assuming they have left the starting lobby).
The range for XP orb pickups is extended from 13 --> 20 meters for QoL for longer ranged builds. It should still should feel good overall, but longer range will be less laborious. (Love for our Railgun, Rocket, and Plasma wielders!)
Polish on Eyeclops enemy beam attack for more intuitive avoidance and messaging
Balance
Weapon balance pass across multiple weapon types
Enemy health scaling over time is now multiplicative rather than additive. This hopefully means enemies scale more smoothly and predictably as runs go on
Shiny enemies now appear slightly less frequently

Elemental adjustments
Slimed enemies debuff reduced from 30% more damage taken to 15%
Burning condition on enemies deals less damage but should apply slightly faster, more options to increase this damage through items
Freeze duration reduced from 8s to 3s, this seemed to powerful upfront, but we added some items to increase this over time
Shatter damage reduced, but increased item choices to make it more powerful over time.
Electric now has chain lightning by default, damage reduced sliightly and default targets set to 2.

15% chance on Meat Ability Damage Dealt to Frozen enemy: Gain +10 Barrier
15% chance on Meat Ability Damage Dealt to Chilled enemy: Gain +10 Barrier
Cone of Cold (Ice)
On Barrier Damage Taken: Deal Ice damage in an area around you
Yeti Yogurt (REWORK)
On Melee Damage Dealt to Frozen enemy: Gain a stack of Yeti for 30s. Yeti increases Ice accumulation by 25% and Shatter Damage by 110%. Max 3 stacks.
Glacier Pops (REWORK)
On Meat Ability Damage Dealt to Chilled enemy, increase ability recharge by 20% for 30s
Fire
BBQ Smoker
On Kill: Gain a stack of Smoke, increasing movement by 3%, Max 10. Max Stacks grants you Golden Bullet for 5s

On Fire Damage dealt to Chilled or Frozen enemy: Deal 20% more fire damage
Leftovers
On MeatSwap chain 150 fire damage to 4 enemies
Red Hot
On Kill gain a stack of Red Hot Increasing damage by 1% for 10s, Max of 30s
Kinetic
Hot Bod
On Meat Swap: Gain a stack of Hot Bod increasing crit change by 5%, max 5.
Knock Your Socks Off
+100% Melee Damage, 25% Chance on meat kill: Target drops Meat
New Car Smell
On Meat Swap: Double Damage of your meat abilities for 3s.
Armor Piercing
+100% Projectile speed, +200% direct hit damage, -40% Explosion Radius
Slime
Sloppy Joe
10% chance on Meat ability damage dealt to Slimed enemy to quickly refresh all your abilities
Electric
Battery Storage
Meat Abilities gain +1 to charges
Forked Lightning
+3 to Chain Targets, Any ability with keyword Chain will have their targets increased.
Lightning Strike
20% on Weak Point damage to Electrified target: Lightning bolt will strike the enemy dealing 100 damage.
On Weak Point Kill: Lightning Bolt will call down and chain to 1 additional nearby enemy.

Fixed a bug where enemies could spawn late or not at all in certain situations

Fixed some props that were missing collision, causing players to fall through them
Fixed the railgun art displaying incorrectly
Fixed the ability upgrade grid sometimes showing the wrong icon
Various additional small fixes and stability improvements
Dpad-Right and Dpad-Down should now be able to be used when remapping inputs on controller
Kicktube (Kinetic Rocket Launcher) and Rocket Head Ability now have appropriately-sized collision for hitting enemies as expected

Some slime explosions were still showing orange coloration; now fully green
Sheriff Carl Artifact no longer disappears when far away from the player
Known Issues
No significant performance tuning has been done yet. If you are graphics bound, you can try lowering the quality settings in the Esc menu via Options → Video, but systems with more constrained hardware may struggle
When observing other players, some UI bits such as the reload HUD don’t show accurate information for the observed player
