Super Retro Retry changes
Two important changes, some improvements, and a couple of bug fixes. Let's dive into the changelog:
Distinct skins (see below).
New music engine (see below).
EnhancedSnow™
Polished Christmas decorations.
Resolved issue that occasionally prevented accurate death count recording. You've likely retried quite a few more times!
Fixed a very rare & nasty bug that could cause crashes toward the end of the game.
Now let's talk about the two main changes in this update...
Distinct Skins
Now each skin will behave differently: some jump higher, others move faster. In some cases, the changes are subtle, and all of them are suitable for completing the game. Find the one that best suits your style!
New music engine
I've heard the suggestion from many of you regarding the music; you wanted to be able to hear it better with fewer interruptions. It was challenging because the music is fragmented into about 20 pieces, but after some headaches, I believe I've found the solution. The music will still evolve as we progress, but now it will do so seamlessly, attempting to adapt gradually and organically to our advancement (and it can also lead to different patterns in various gameplays, aligning with the game's philosophy). It's not a perfect solution; there might be some bugs and occasional small interruptions, but overall, it seems functional, and I'll strive to refine it over time. I hope you like it!
