Content & Gameplay Additions

  • New 9-hole course: Snow

  • Added 9 new holes to the Coast course (now 18 holes total)

Changes & Improvements

  • A knockout immunity shield is now awarded to players after respawning

  • Players knocking out other players that they are already dominating will no longer be awarded a speed boost

  • Players will now see a white flag above the players they are dominating to indicate this

  • When knocked out three or more times within 30 seconds of each other, players will now receive an orange knockout immunity shield with extended duration

  • When a player is dominated by another player with a knockout streak of 6 or more, the dominated player will now receive a red knockout immunity shield blocking all knockouts specifically from the dominating player

  • Players repeatedly hit by other players’ dives within a short time span will now receive a knockout immunity shield

  • Knockout immunity shields now protect against knockback caused by other players’ dives

  • Knockout immunity shields now prevent other players from locking onto the shielded players with swing projectiles and Rocket Launchers

  • Added votekicking

  • All players in a lobby can initiate a votekick against other players

  • During ongoing matches in public lobbies, hosts can no longer directly kick players and must initiate a votekick instead

  • Hosts can no longer move other players between the spectator and participant lists in the Match Setup menu

  • The pause menu now displays the current course, any custom rules set for the lobby, and whether cheats are enabled in the lobby

  • Added comeback bonus points for players finishing a hole when far behind in score

  • Landmines can now only be used once, rather than 3 times, per item

  • Made landmine toss aiming more consistent and intuitive

  • Players speaking over voice chat are now be indicated in the HUD and pause menu

  • When using the push to talk or push to toggle microphone input modes, the player’s voice chat indicator in the HUD will also show whether talking is enabled

  • Balls will now roll down much faster on steep slopes

  • Balls will now come to a stop much more reliably on shallow slopes

  • Extended the swing hitbox downwards slightly to allow players to hit their balls more reliably when standing above them on a slope

  • Significantly increased the knockback inflicted to players and golf carts when hit by an Elephant Gun shot

  • Made improvements to restarting (holding R on keyboard or D-pad down on controller by default):

  • Restarting now respawns the player at the last activated checkpoint instead of back at the tee (but still respawns at the tee if no checkpoint has been activated)

  • Restarting when the player is ahead of their own ball, and if their ball is stationary, now respawns the player at the ball’s location

  • Restarting during the hole finish countdown will no longer forfeit, and can be used to restart the player as usual

  • Customization shop improvements

  • Changes to character customization are now applied and saved immediately, rather than only when closing the menu

  • Unowned cosmetics being previewed will now be unequipped when switching tabs in the customization menu to prevent confusion

  • Improved the balancing of points awarded for the first 8 placements on a hole, and any placement after (which all receive the same amount of points)

  • Added “hide custom rules” and “hide active matches” filters to the lobby browser

  • The “friends only” filter in the lobby browser now displays all lobbies any friends are in, rather than only lobbies hosted by friends

  • In the lobby browser, active lobbies any friends are in are now guaranteed to be included in the lobby list, rather than only lobbies hosted by friends

  • The lobby browser now displays lobbies’ current ruleset instead of their game mode

  • Lobby browser filter settings will now be saved between uses

  • Increased the automatic quick refresh interval in the lobby browser from 5 seconds to 30 seconds

  • Added more color options to some cosmetics

  • Facial hair can now be colored

  • Level tweaks:

  • Added extra checkpoints to Sandbanks, Lone Island, and Sand Traps

  • Added more item boxes near the tee to Cove, Downhill, Lone Island, and Terraces

  • Added new mobility item boxes to Cove, Downhill, Sandbanks, Lone Island, Atoll, Spiral, Gauntlet, Roundabout, Overlook, Donut, Hilltops, Blast Off, Patches, Oasis, Serpent Trail, and Vertigo

  • Overhauled the Courses tab of the Match setup menu:

  • Each hole now has a difficulty rating

  • Each course’s holes now have unique graphics and more concise info to better distinguish between them

  • Added beginner, intermediate, expert, and all hole courses

  • The different preset courses now each have a unique icon

  • Random order is now a setting that can be checked on any course, rather than a course of its own

  • Added a framerate limiting option to the Graphics tab of the Settings menu, available when VSync is disabled

  • Added options for displaying units of length in meters or yards, and speed in km/h or mph, in the General tab of the Settings menu

  • In the Rules tab of the Match Setup menu, the “ahead of own ball” spawn probability button is now listed last for better clarity

  • In the Rules tab of the Match Setup menu, rules and probabilities that are turned off or have a value of 0 are now greyed out for better clarity at a glance

  • Players can now skip the opening cinematic by holding any key if they have seen it in full before

  • Changed the default microphone input mode in the Audio tab of the Settings menu to push to talk

  • When muting a player, their text chat messages will no longer be visible as well

  • A text chat message will now be displayed whenever a player in the lobby unlocks an achievement

  • Console commands are now only enabled as a lobby setting in the Rules tab of the Match Setup menu, rather than each player also having a local setting in the Settings menu, to avoid confusion

  • Attempting to join a lobby while already in one will now pop up a confirmation message first (or a message to notify the player they’re already in that lobby if that is the case)

  • When attempting to join a password-protected lobby, the password field is now auto-selected as the password popup appears

  • Lobby passwords can now be submitted with enter on keyboard or south face button on controller when the text input field is selected

  • Certain prompts appearing onscreen can now be dismissed with escape on keyboard or east face button on controller

  • Updated the main menu background with a snowy environment

  • Tweaked swing power bar terrain preview colors for clarity

  • Stroke count is now visible for the duration of the hole under the hole progress bar after hitting the ball once

  • Vegetation now has ambient particle effects: some bushes house butterflies, mushrooms spread spores and leaves can be seen falling from trees

  • Added voice chat VFX to spectator cameras

  • Added VFX and sounds for players falling into holes

  • Added VFX and sounds for players restarting a hole

  • Adjusted some info feed icons for better consistency and clarity

  • Added flame VFX to the candle hat cosmetic and the campfire environment object

  • Added a sound for balls returning from out of bounds

  • Added sounds to player emotes

  • Added a sound for entering the Match Setup menu through the match setup station on the Driving Range

  • Added a sound for pressing the button to cycle to the next camera on the monitor on the Driving Range

  • Added a sound for discarded, used up items disappearing

  • The “return to your ball” message displayed when the player is ahead of their own ball will now start pulsing after 3 seconds for better clarity

Optimization & Fixes

  • Fixed balls sometimes temporarily glitching through the level with high velocities when joining lobbies

  • Fixed spinning golf cart wheels being able to send colliding balls flying away at very high velocities

  • Fixed the Dueling Pistol and Elephant Gun being able to shoot through environment objects

  • Fixed the Dueling Pistol and Elephant Gun being very inaccurate when shooting in a direction far from the player's facing direction

  • Fixed rockets disappearing without exploding when launched at point-blank range

  • Fixed diving into other players sometimes knocking them back in the wrong direction

  • Fixed jumping continuously through shallow water being faster than wading through it

  • Fixed players being able to enter golf carts while restarting (holding R on keyboard or D-pad down on controller by default), causing them to respawn inside the golf cart

  • Fixed some items being unintentionally equippable, aimable and/or usable while in a non-Elephant Gun dive

  • Fixed players being able to block golf carts’ movement after hitting them with their club

  • Fixed non-host players being able to come into direct contact with armed landmines without causing them to explode

  • Fixed hosts rotating quickly while stationary near an armed landmine causing it to explode

  • Fixed swung homing objects flying off in random directions if the player they're homing towards enters a golf cart

  • Fixed balls being able to get stuck in the environment after being returned from out of bounds under specific conditions

  • Fixed players attempting to use Spring Boots immediately after landing from a previous Spring Boots jump causing them to perform a regular jump rather than another Spring Boots jump

  • Fixed players being able to jump straight up with Spring Boots to avoid an Orbital Laser elimination, and only be knocked out instead

  • Fixed weapon reticles not being displayed and the camera not being offset to over the shoulder when holding down the aim input with an aimable item equipped while respawning or getting up from a dive

  • Fixed diving not canceling ongoing item usage, making the Golf Cart disappear from a player’s inventory if they dive after beginning to use it and before the cart appears

  • Fixed players’ camera proximity fade out sometimes behaving unexpectedly when a hole starts or after other players leave the lobby

  • Fixed players turning invisible in large modded lobbies

  • Fixed balls sometimes not having trails when in flight

  • Fixed players’ golf balls disappearing when hit with the golf club on the Driving Range while those players are set as spectators

  • Fixed eliminations sometimes displaying the wrong info feed icon (e.g. displaying the “falling into water” icon rather than the Rocket Launcher icon when falling into water due to having been knocked out by a rocket)

  • Fixed a softlock when a non-host player has the developer console open while the host disables console commands in the Rules tab of the Match Setup menu

  • Fixed an issue allowing golf carts to permanently block the hole under rare circumstances

  • Fixed the “connecting” message that appears onscreen when connecting to a lobby being hidden by the loading screen, preventing slow connection attempts from being canceled and failed connection attempt messages from being dismissed

  • Prevented hosts from awarding players too many credits

  • Fixed players getting disconnected when hit by golf carts many times in very quick succession

  • Fixed players getting disconnected when repeatedly entering and exiting the customization shop on the Driving Range very quickly

  • Introduced graphics jobs, significantly improving CPU performance

  • Improved Unicode handling, fixing text chat causing stutters under certain circumstances

  • Fixed golf carts driving over discarded, used up items causing stutters

  • Fixed toggling talking using the push to talk or push to toggle voice chat input modes causing stutters

  • Fixed the knockout bonus points rule in the Rules tab of the Match Setup menu not causing bonus points to be awarded for knockouts

  • Fixed the “start match” button in the Match Setup menu not being properly enabled or disabled when players connect, disconnect, or switch spectator state

  • Fixed all players in a lobby seeing the host’s Steam nicknames for players if they have one

  • Fixed players’ Steam icons sometimes not loading if certain menus are open when they connect

  • Fixed player entries from the Match Setup menu getting stuck onscreen when the menu is closed while the player entry is being moved

  • Fixed spectator button prompts sometimes remaining onscreen when moving back into gameplay from spectating

  • Fixed selecting “none” in the headgear or hair tabs of the character customization menu unequipping any cosmetic currently equipped in the other tab

  • Fixed hovering over the last cosmetic in every character customization category not displaying any unequip warnings on other categories’ tabs

  • Fixed some lobby names getting incorrectly truncated on the scoreboard

  • Fixed players’ names missing in the “started spectating” text chat message displayed when joining directly as a spectator from the lobby browser

  • Fixed incorrect achievement tooltips being displayed when hovering over cosmetics unlocked by achievements in the customization shop

  • Fixed a rebind conflict between the “Swing” and “Use Item” actions, making it impossible to rebind them

  • Level fixes:

  • Added environment objects to prevent players’ balls from getting stuck on some levels

  • Fixed incorrect colliders on some environment objects

  • Fixed incorrectly rotated respawn checkpoints, so players now face the correct direction when respawning

  • Adjusted bridges to better align with terrain

  • Added an extra check below certain bridges to respawn players’ balls if they gets stuck

  • Removed an item box that was out of bounds

  • Fixed some item boxes being placed at an incorrect height

  • Fixed the flag not always rising up when players are on the green on some levels

  • Lowered floating environment objects

  • Adjusted terrain around tunnels to better align with the tunnels themselves

  • Fixed some terrain clipping oddly into some objects

  • Smoothed out some jagged terrain

  • Fixed some far away meshes not rendering correctly

  • Fixed out of bounds visuals mismatching the actual bounds on some levels

  • Adjusted the out of bounds boundary in the Driving Range

  • Reorganized the displayed items outside of the player customization shop on the Driving Range and fixed their colliders

  • Fixed players’ microphone being muted at the start of every hole or when returning the to Driving Range while voice chat input mode is set to push to toggle

  • Fixed Airhorn and Orbital Laser targeting UI being displayed while in a golf cart if the player entered it with one of the items equipped

  • Fixed some issues with and generally improved player spine straightening while aiming and using items

  • Fixed the overhead placement popup when finishing a hole displaying the wrong placement when scoring 9th or above

  • Fixed hotkey selection outlines sometimes remaining partially visible even when the hotkey is no longer selected

  • Fixed the diagonal stripe pattern on out of bounds sections of the swing power bar terrain preview not aligning between different sections

  • Fixed holes and skinning issues for some player outfits

  • Fixed landmine arming VFX not following the landmine if it arms while motion

  • Fixed the customization shop’s doors not opening when other players enter and exit the shop, except for when the host does it

  • Fixed the customization shop’s doorbell only being audible for the player entering and exiting it

  • Fixed some VFX missing from the coffee dispenser on the Driving Range

  • Fixed players being unable to hear other players’ second Elephant Gun shot if it was shot twice in quick succession

  • Fixed the “Frog Legs” achievement description in Polish
