Sunken Seeker changes
Hi everyone,
Version 1.1 is now live! This update includes several bug fixes and quality-of-life changes.
Bug fixes
- Alt-Tab FreezeFixed an issue where the game would freeze at the end of the day after alt-tabbing (which caused the cursor to disappear).
- CameraFixed a glitch where opening and closing the inventory allowed the camera to rotate backward.
- Reset Rotation SwitchFixed a bug where rotating the submarine to a certain angle caused the 'Reset Rotation' switch to fail and snap back to a weird angle.
- HeadbobFixed a bug where the player could headbob while interacting with the Shop, Codex, or Manual.
- Fish BoidsFixed a bug where boids in lower zones did not appear.
Collection Zone Hitbox: Slightly increase the collection box because some items cannot be picked up from certain angles.
- Exit Game ButtonFixed a bug where clicking the exit button in the main menu closed the game immediately. It now requires confirmation before exiting.
Changes & Improvements
Renamed Switch: The 'Reset Attitude' switch has been renamed to'Reset Rotation'for clarity.
Monster Rebalancing: Monsters now have a higher chance to retreat briefly after each attack.
New System: If a monster attacks 2–3 times (depending on the species) without a kill, it will now lose interest and enter a bored state.
- Claw HitboxSlightly increased the detection box on the claw to make grabbing objects easier without requiring perfect aim.
Grabber Arm: The arm collider will now only be active when the arm is in use.
- Starting OxygenSlightly increased starting oxygen levels to make initial exploration more forgiving for day one.
- Manual UpdateUpdated the manual to match the new Proximity Warning and Ship Tracker systems.
Proximity Warning: The UI is now more compact and less intrusive.
Sound alerts now only trigger when the player is getting too close to an object, rather than beeping constantly.
Updated the visuals of the warning bar.
Ship Tracker:Features a new ship icon and a much more readable direction arrow.
Ship Icon: The ship icon now appears only when the player is heading in the right direction; it will disappear if the player is facing the wrong way.
Tracker Arrow: The pointer arrow now accounts for the player's depth, showing how deep the player is and pointing toward the ship much more accurately.
