Stronghold Defenders changes
Corruption Rework
Many players felt too punished for failing to meet the Restoration criteria within 10 days. Previously, with enemies permanently buffed, it became extremely difficult to recover. To address this, I’ve made a significant change to the mechanic.
Now, only the boss's health is affected by Corruption. This means you’ll only need to focus your defenses during boss invasions rather than dealing with a continuous increase in enemy strength.
However, Restoration is still crucial —if ignored, bosses will become extremely difficult to stop and will deal massive damage to your Stronghold.
Balancing Changes
Other than the changes for the corruption system, I have tried to make slight adjustments that will hopefully favor the player and make things a bit more balanced.
General
Removed all crossroads and loops for the path in the starting area.
Defense Buildings
Shooting Bunker Attack Rate buffed: 0.7 → 1
Ballista Attack Damage nerfed: 50 → 25
Ballista New Skill added: Critical Hit 30%
Axe Tower Lethality buffed: 4 → 5
Catapult Explosive Damage buffed: 70 → 85
Utility Buildings
Church Rarity changed: Blue Tier → Green Tier
Church Restoration Income nerfed: 4 → 3
Pyramid Rarity changed: Gold Tier → Blue Tier
Pyramid Restoration Income nerfed: 3 base + 2 per Church → 2 base + 1 per Church
Library Research Income buffed: 3 → 4

Enemy Nerfs
Yellow Slime Move Speed: 1.28 → 1.2
Yellow Slime HP: 640 → 620
Orc HP: 1300 → 1200
Red Knight HP: 1700 → 1600
Gold Knight HP: 2300 → 2200
Big Bug HP: 4800 → 4400
Slime Boss HP: 3200 → 2800
Troll Boss HP: 8000 → 6500
Knight Boss HP: 5500 → 5000
Bug Boss HP: 13,000 → 11,000
Enemy Buffs
Slime Boss Speed: 0.8 → 1
