FAQ

Why football?

There are a lot of football (soccer) games, but very few that put an emphasis on physics-based gameplay that put the player in full control. Existing games in this subgenre have the right idea but, in our opinion, fail to deliver on their true potential. As the creators of Slapshot Rebound, we've gained a lot of experience with this type of game over the last 5+ years and are excited to bring it to this genre.

How do I get access?

We are currently in closed alpha, you can sign up for the playtests through Steam

How much will the game cost?

The game will be free-to-play with paid cosmetics and features. The game will never be pay to win.

When will the game release?

We will announce an Early Access release date this year. We are not comfortable committing to a timeline yet, because we want to leave ourselves the room to work on the game until we're confident that it's ready for its next phase.

Which platforms will Strikers Club be on?

We'll release on PC first, with console releases being evaluated after.

Does this mean Slapshot is no longer being developed?

No. We are working on both games. We will let the two games lift each other up by sharing a good chunk of technology and resources. Expanding our studio by creating similar games allows us to support our other games better!

What's your plan for leagues and community events?

We're working with dedicated community members to set up leagues in each region. Other community members are free to create their own as well. Just like with Slapshot, we intend to fully support organizers with promotion in-game, socials and Discord, provide them with quality of life features in-game for smooth operations, and provide prize pools in the shape of in-game currency and cash prizes for bigger events.

What format will the game be in?

The default format is 6v6, but you can create any format you'd like in custom games from 1v1 to 11v11. There are different arenas with different sizes and vibes, plus plenty of settings to create a ruleset you prefer. You can use these for in-house matches, pick-up games or even full blown leagues.
