Repeated intro
Hey everyone, The demo for Stop the Blight is now available again! It’s been brought up to date with the current version of the game, so if you’ve been waiting to check it out (or want to see how much has changed since the original demo), now’s a great time.

Stop the Blight changes
This update also includes a balance pass aimed at increasing the challenge during a run. The Blight spreads faster, towers are under more pressure, and a few spells have been re-tuned.
Enhancements
Cores now break into tiny pieces when destroyed
Holy Hand Grenade now clears blight on explosion
Balance Changes (Increased Run Difficulty)
Portals are now invulnerable
Slightly reduced mana cost for all wall types
Blight damage to towers increased: 10 → 18 per tick
Blight growth increased: 100 → 192 per tick (every 3 seconds)
Rejuvenate spell rate of fire reduced: 1s → 2s
Daybreak Cannon direct damage reduced from 24 -> 22
Sunbeam Spire:
Starting DPS reduced: 10 → 8
Damage ramping reduced: +1/s → +0.5/s
Max damage reduced: 20 → 16
(Now deals 8 DPS at start, 16 DPS after 16s on target)
Blight Purifier:
Mana cost reduced: 32 → 28
Blight clearing radius increased
Healing amounts reduced: 16 → 12, 20 → 15, 24 → 18
This is part of an ongoing effort to fine-tune balance and push the strategic side of the game even further. Thanks to everyone who’s been offering feedback and reporting bugs, it’s been incredibly helpful.
