Stone Rage changes
Hello, Stone Ragers!
We’re happy to announce our second content update for Stone Rage. Our first month went great, we put great effort into this update, but there's surely lots more work to be done to make the game a long-lasting experience!
Here’s a little highlight of the most important changes:

The design goal behind the Decay System is to prevent the world from overbuilding. It also challenges the players to look out for their home. This is the first implementation of the system and it will be improved further as new patches are rolling out.
As the constructions are getting more and more damaged, the wear will show. They visually become more and more broken too.
We also added special foundations and floors with stairs attached to them. This way it’s both easier to enter your base and design multiple story buildings.
The construction system is a key element to the game. It should be as convenient as possible. For this reason we also added a visual feedback on the hud that explains why can’t you place your construction.
We will be rolling out more large content patches every month with hotfixes as needed. Take a look below at new in this version of Stone Rage!
Decay Content Update 0.3.2:
Patch Additions:
Added decay system with decay station model
Destroying constructions now removes every arrows as well
Added new pickaxe
Added new woodstairs model
Added floor/foundation construction with stairs
Weapon leveling to pickaxes and axes meaning higher tier tools will provide better and more materials
Added dropped meshes for human weapons
Added hitmarker for when an arrow hits a construction, creature or player (if PVP is enabled)
Added sliced banana models
Toggle Sprint mode in the options menu
Added new fire arrow model
Added male drink anims
Re-enabled client side physics for dropped items
Patch Changes/Fixes:
Fire arrows are pickupable as stone arrows after hit
Claim Signs provide full construction access (upgrade, demolish, build)
No weapon gives construction damage anymore except hammer, mace and fire arrows
Interaction in FPS mode is fixed
Jumping while sprinting no longer snaps the player out of sprinting
Improved ponderosa trees models when cut
Fixed neander axe found on map
Main menu buttons hover over response
Fixed swimming speed for both genders
Fixed axe durability loss on ponderosa trees
Fixed hair issue on spawn ui
Fixed character render issue
An issue where the player stats were ticking even when offline is fixed
Fixed bandage being too loud
Fixed sand condition loss
Fixed character's buyoancy
Fixed missing weight calculation when quick move used in inventory
Chat message is limited to 64 character
Condition loss over time; torches now lose durability when equipped
Core of the decay system and decay component
Claim Signs no longer have inventory
Newly picked up stackable items now stack properly
The construction system now prompts you if you cannot place a building and also tells you why.
Deactivate construction mode if character dies
Fixed crafting ui scaling issue
UI dpi scaling adjust and minor UI fixes
Fixed hut doors and doors snapping
Fixed Claim Sign owner copy issue when interactable was placed after the Claim Sign.
Fixed multiple crashes
Game Balance:
Increased male jump z-axis from 460 to 525
Decrease crafting costs of swords
Increase HP on claim stones
Decrease crafting costs of shelves by a little
Increase HP on foundations some more
Increase slots on big chests
Buff obsidian sword. Damage per hit 15 -> 25
Water reservoir now stores 5 water every 20 minutes instad of 10 water every 15 minutes
Cooking changes: cooked mammoth meat gives more stats
Renamed skirt to bottom
Renamed upgrade tool to modification tool
Cooldown for bandages
Renamed huts to ".... hut foundations"
Increased nammoth health from 450 to 500
Crude pickaxe condition loss for rocks from 0,45 to 0,6
Increased chance to get materials from stone node (from 35% to 40%)
Increased cactus loot drop
Nerfed tree bast on panderosa trees (from 45% to 20%)
Increased loot drop on deer (meat), nerfed raw hide on deer
Updated crafting recipe for the storage containers (chests), 12, 20, 40 now.
Updated loot drop on trees (more logs, less other stuff for big trees)
Foundations have now 100 instead of 75 health
Foundation: nerfed build costs from 20 to 18 logs
Foundation with ramp: build cost needs 22 logs
Durability nerfed for spears when dealing damage to construction
Weapon levels for Crude Pickaxe and Medium Pickaxe
Adjusted health for nodes
Updated trees item drop
Nerfed fire arrow damage construction from 3.5 to 3
Backpack craft changes (fiber backpack)
Palisade craft changes (now uses 3 ropes)
