## Performance & Network

## Combat Fixes & Changes

  • Fixed issue where throwable (tertiary weapons) could consume multiple charges at once

  • Likely caused by missing or inconsistent server-side cooldown validation * Bombs are no longer throwable items

  • They are now permanent inventory items * Added headshots for NPCs * Fixed bug where bullets could pass through NPCs/players depending on hitbox and projectile speed

  • Improved server-side hit detection timing and consistency (hitbox scaling / tickrate adjustments) * NPCs are now killed if they move outside the map bounds

## UI & UX Improvements

  • “Last online” status no longer shows as unknown * Improved overall UI layout for better readability * Warning indicator added before the “My Account” button to encourage account backup * Chat system fix

  • Typing “H” or triggering name-based shortcuts no longer hides chat (fixed unintended behavior) * Previous chat messages are now preserved when joining a server lobby

## Leaderboard & Progression

  • Leaderboard update

  • Kills are now split into two categories

  • Kills (Player) * Kills (NPC) * Kill/Death count has been reset to match the new kill count and reflect the ratio properly

  • Fixed multiple edge-case projectile bugs affecting consistency and stability * General backend improvements to reduce desync and improve reliability in multiplayer sessions

**REMINDER:** Stickforge Early Access ends on May 26 and the game will be released on Steam in its final version.
