Steel Swarm: SURVIVOR changes
⚡ Update Overview
Welcome to patch 2026.3.1! With this update, we introduce new and improved UI elements such as minimap icons and pause menu statistics to give the player a better access to information that they can use to make more impactful decisions during gameplay. Additionally, we address the extreme difficulty of later levels as pointed out by our players. The gap of difficulty between early and later levels was something that many of you noticed and let us know in your feedback. In this patch, we aim to level the playing field by increasing the effectiveness of Weapon Upgrades and by reducing the defensive profile of end game units.
🔧 New User Interface Features
Minimap is updated with brand new icons for bosses, units, upgrades, missions, and distress call objectives.
Upgrade cards now show the previous and new value of the stat that you are upgrading.
The pause menu has a new and more detailed UI that has separate tabs for the collected rewards, character stats, and weapon stats.
Rewards screen at the end of the raid is improved and shows more stats.
You can now see the related Meta Missions of a level in the level selection screen.
Settings menu is improved with seperate tabs for graphics, sound, and gameplay
