After enough testing, I found no remaining bugs on my end and made enough tweaks to push through with this version of 0.1. You will notice major changes with the game. From the UI, to the removed features.

removedAfter enough testing, I found no remaining bugs on my end and made enough tweaks to push through with this version of 0.1. You will notice major changes with the game. From the UI, to the removed features. Gameplay is the same if slightly simplified.
changedI will be doing a proper update on progress for 0.2 soon and a proper introduction to Germany. Unlike prior versions of the game, these countries have been seriously changed and altered to fit their specific real life counterparts. This also includes the UK.
changedMinor Balance IssuesThere can be landslide elections for one party I've done some work to balance it but the campaigning systems in 0.3 will be able to fully solve these issues. If you have a 2 party country this can certainly be a problem. Right now party popularity is weighted more heavily than before temporarily as I redesign and complete other factors like candidate strength.
changedMinor Balance IssuesCampaigns are dead easy unless you are running for a seat that has a big gap in party popularity.
changedMinor UpdatesIf I have the time after 0.1 properly releases, I may work on a few minor versions to improve some of the experience of 0.1. But I'd have to see if I have time for that. You may also expect a 0.15 update in August or by August 30th. Containing half of 0.2. 0.2 will have Steam workshop support to help give you all something to do and share with custom scenarios and custom parties.

It is a release candidate because I do expect you to potentially find any remaining bugs or hiccups that I didn't catch in my playtesting before a full release. Fingers crossed that there shouldn't be many left.

Minor Balance Issues

There can be landslide elections for one party I've done some work to balance it but the campaigning systems in 0.3 will be able to fully solve these issues. If you have a 2 party country this can certainly be a problem. Right now party popularity is weighted more heavily than before temporarily as I redesign and complete other factors like candidate strength.

Minor Updates

If I have the time after 0.1 properly releases, I may work on a few minor versions to improve some of the experience of 0.1. But I'd have to see if I have time for that. You may also expect a 0.15 update in August or by August 30th. Containing half of 0.2. 0.2 will have Steam workshop support to help give you all something to do and share with custom scenarios and custom parties.

I've spent much time designing how I want custom scenarios to be and similar to other games you can choose certain politicians in those custom scenarios to play out their careers or just play as a politician you made.

Important Notice

Your saves probably won't work for 0.1 neither your old politicians. Given the massive changes under the engine. So you may have to start over on that.
