Fixes:

  • Fixed FPTP elections from doing equal distribution vote wise due to not being able to fetch polling data and other scores. Now you can expect more realistic elections instead of always tight races that are about equally distributed.

  • Eligible voter population is now correct for each election along with total expected votes.

  • Candidates that are independents are now created with random colors.

  • Made the UI for featured elections, specifically the voting percentage bars much easier to see color wise.

  • An extra performance change to make monthly processing much faster. Still much more is needed.

  • Fixed editing a generated party from making it a custom party and resetting its ideology to centrist.

  • Fixed a new bug where editing a generated party would remove all parties completely.

  • Made MMD elections generate much more necessary and needed candidates to fill all seats and also competitors for those seats on top of that.

  • MMD elections now properly state that they had several winners not just one.

  • Time progression party wise is working now.

  • Fixed state reps and senators from having a general state map in elections as they do not have proper maps yet.

  • U.S Senator and U.S Governor races now properly work and show realistic results.

  • Fixed skip to end not really working properly for Governor races, Senator races and U.S Presidential races.

  • Fixed presidential election calculations in the election simulator and in the campaign.

  • Fixed several bugs with the UI for presidential elections.

  • Fixed broken staff hiring system.

  • Fixed many new and old bugs related to the election simulator and election night screen.

  • Restored Crawford to working properly within Kansas.

  • Fixed 4 missing and mismapped counties in Virginia.

  • Fixed manually buying ads from being missing due to a fail to fetch news outlets.

Additions / Changes:

  • Worked on moving party logos from pixel art to vector art. Proc gen party logos are now vector art. For now there is no in game editor for party logos but I will be adding that back later on. I will have to re-draw / re-make the icons but as actual images this time instead of matrix values.

  • Re-written the entire election vote distribution system along with polling and re-done the entire election simulator.

  • Added automation to campaign actions.

  • Election scenarios can be saved and loaded in the election simulator.

  • Added back interviews and the quiz to staff hiring. Changed staff hiring UI to use a new UI paradigm for certain interfaces like government offices.

  • Changes to the state maps related UI.

  • Created an algorithm for both the scenario editor and coalition modification within the election simulator that allows for automatic recalculations when modifying coalitions or party popularity.

  • News outlets are back to properly reporting on election results for their specific related levels.

  • New voter turnout calculations that should be working in both the election simulator and the campaign.

  • Working On:

  • Re-adding election specific parties and have them work properly with the coalition system. This may take a while and isn't a priority for me right now.

  • Testing election campaign actions, re-working ads, testing the new election system within campaigns.
