I'll be straight with you: after updating Starfend consistently for over a year, I stepped away from development for about 12 months. Life happened.

But I never stopped thinking about this game — and now I'm back, fully committed to updating it every month going forward.

What's new in the April 15th update:

  • Wave Buff System completely overhauled

  • 30 buff cards — one per cannon color across 3 bonus types

  • ATK Speed now available as a permanent skill tree upgrade

  • Permanent resource upgrades added to the skill tree

  • New Cannon Color Reset option added to the skill tree

What's coming next:

More balance improvements, better visual feedback, and quality-of-life changes based on your feedback in the discussions.

A small ask:

If you've played Starfend and enjoyed it — even a little — leaving a review on the store page genuinely changes what the Steam algorithm shows to new players. It's the biggest thing you can do to help this game survive.

If you haven't tried it yet, there's a free demo on the store page. No commitment.

Thank you for sticking around.
