Star Dynasties roadmap REVEALED!

Hail ruler, After the launch of Star Dynasties, many of you are rightfully curious where we intend to go with the game through Early Access. I've got a roadmap to share with you.

addedStory Events EditorThis separate mod tool will allow you to add story events to the game. Story events can trigger when the player or the galaxy is in a certain position, or following a particular in-game event. They can interact with all gameplay mechanics, and you can tell a story across multiple events or multiple turns. Steamworks integration will allow you to share your creations with other players.
changedStory Events EditorThe update will also enable the dev console, allowing you to easily test story events, or simply manipulate the game for fun.
changedExpedition EventsThe remnants of humanity live within the ruins of a civilization that was at the cusp of a golden era of space colonization. We live inside structures which we cannot build, and travel inside machines whose workings are unfathomable. We may not understand it, but technology gives us life and protects us from the harsh universe. And it is a source of power. Within the husks of abandoned colonies, lost spaceships, and other mysterious sightings; lie trinkets that could bring your house glory.

The first week and a half of feedback has already thrown some of the key balancing and QoL issues into sharp relief, and I will be dealing with those first, as well as resolving any bugs. There are some requests that are very popular, such as more options to customize your start, which I will definitely be looking at. Of course, I am just one guy, so I will need to pick and choose the most valuable items to work on, primarily focusing on the political and personal drama aspects of the game.

They can interact with all gameplay mechanics, and you can tell a story across multiple events or multiple turns. Steamworks integration will allow you to share your creations with other players.

The remnants of humanity live within the ruins of a civilization that was at the cusp of a golden era of space colonization. We live inside structures which we cannot build, and travel inside machines whose workings are unfathomable. Within the husks of abandoned colonies, lost spaceships, and other mysterious sightings; lie trinkets that could bring your house glory.

Colony Improvements

This update will replace "infrastructure" with a more detailed colony model. Repair dormant installations within a system, choosing which to restore to determine the value that colony provides, and which noble house to own it. Some installations will provide empire-wide bonuses, making them valuable targets to fight over.
