In less than a month, we’ve already read a lot of your feedback and reviews, and their positivity motivates us to keep working to offer the best possible experience.

We’ve also been able to use your consistently detailed feedback to help us identify the issues and bugs still present in the game, which helps us tremendously in steering this Early Access in the right direction.

Of course, there’s still work to be done to continue perfecting the game and making it as enjoyable as possible for you all, but we’re doing our very best to provide you with the best experience.

With that in mind, we're thrilled to present this second update for SPYMASTER’s Early Access, and here’s what it includes:

Additions:

  • Added a glitch VFX for characters in levels

  • Added an audio menu to adjust the volume of various settings

  • Added additional FX in cutscenes and levels

Overall reliability:

  • Addressed various issues that could prevent a case from being validated when agents are in an extraction zone

  • Improved agents' response to various forces

  • General improvements to the structure of different levels to prevent players from bypassing obstacles

  • Rework of the recording system to ensure consistency between actions recorded by the player and those replayed during planning and in the end cutscenes, which was not always the case

  • Improvements to the overall audio mix

Fixes:

  • Fixed a major bug in the recording system that could cause guards to detect characters in planning mode, which would alter the previously recorded footage

  • Fixed various audio issues (duplicate SFX, dialogues not cutting off properly)

  • Fixed incorrect animation behavior in HUB cutscenes

  • Fixed the behavior of character trail VFX during recording

  • Fixed a rewind issue with interactive elements in the Volatile Compound map

  • Fixed a collision issue causing guards to unexpectedly detect the player in the Volatile Compound map
