This past stretch we’ve been quietly cooking a bigger, cleaner, more “real demo” version of SPRKLS.exe.

A version is now available where you can choose between two different modes and two different vibes to explore this digital world.

1. ( ˶˘ ³˘)♡ Meet sparkles! - Narrative Mode ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)

A story-focused mode where you spend one whole day with Rin and meet her best friend Sparkles, a little adorable ghost who suspiciously knowledgeable about your files.

This mode is about: - dialogue + mood - exploring the desktop as a place - finding story fragments hidden in plain sight

Dig into their secrets, get lost in their memories, doodle all over your desktop, and grow flowers.

2. ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･Disturbing dreams... - Gameplay Mode°•ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁.⋆☾

is a gameplay-oriented mode where you can immerse yourself in Rin's dreams by solving window-based puzzles. Start discovering the world of Mirrors OS, even if you have a lot more questions than answers at the beginning.

Highlights:

- pancakes.png - yes, sparkles feeds you pancakes. Don't ask her how long they were in the folder.
