Sprite's Honor! changes
Hello, it’s Holographicquad! And we're back with another roadmap update. Phase 5: “Quality of Life🌊” of the Sprite’s Honor roadmap is now complete! The QOL changes focused on enhancing the ease of the gameplay experience.
Here's some of what's new - > 🌊
Added click and hold to Teal's working
Added click and hold to zoom buttons
Added code to character cycling
Made opening the battle stump require a double click
Refactored house code to fix many issues
Refactored dialogue code to fix many issues
Refactored save system
Can now swap between fairies inside homes
added emote above fairies who need unpacking
fixed issues with Seedling pens
fixed issues with gifting
fixed issues with rewards from diving
Added feature for swapping through tips in oakpedia
fixed issues with pause menu buttons
added click and hold to auto feeder buttons
fixed issues with talking animations
fixed issues and visual issues with special items in the shop
fixed the issue where the fast-forward button was breaking the battle
added visuals to the fast-forward effect in battling
fixed issues with debris
Dia will now show in early cutscenes if unlocked
Every menu can now be exited with ESC
When picking your buddy seedling, you can now use mouse clicks
fixed objects and data that were not correctly loading in after save
added new tips
fixed issues with animations during dialogue
fixed issues when upgrading and selecting characters in the bulletin board
added an option in settings to turn off foreground grass
increased the amount of friendship points you can get
Clicking resources now will automatically give you the max amount (depending on strength stat)
added the ability to hover over the house sign and see who owns it
added sleeping dialogue
fixed issues when stalk seeding was holding weapons and playing correctly
added a button to call all unassigned seedlings to the player
changed: two items will unlock instead of one after a certain number of days
Seedling population is now tracked
fixed numbers showing as decimals after loading in
added money reward for beating gnome battles
added sound to picking seedling dust
fixed issues with destroying occupied houses
made the light area of light sources bright
fixed issues when energy bar wasn't filling if fairy went to bed late
And many other bug fixes!
Things to look out for after updating
Save files: Any saves from before this update will not work correctly. I apologize for the inconvenience. However, this QOL update has made significant changes to the save system, so this may not be an issue in future updates. Unfortunately, the code for the save system was done earlier, and it was my first time building such a system.😅
Bugs: As always, new updates can introduce new issues. Please report any bugs you encounter, and we’ll squash them as we work toward the next update!
