Sprite's Honor! changes
Hello, it’s Holographicquad, and we’re finally back with another update. Phase 4: “Art Rehaul🎨” of the Sprite’s Honor roadmap is now complete! This update took a bit longer because we took a small vacation from game development and started working on a side project, DIGI-DOLLYou can check it out on Steam yourself!
The Art Rehaul focused on enhancing the game’s visuals. While further visual tweaks may still come in the future, these were the most important ones for us to complete! This update also includes plenty of bug fixes and general improvements - to many to list, but trust us they made the game better than before!

Noteworthy Visual Changes: 🎨
Added Effects to the Victory Screen in battle mode
Redesigned style of characters, including Gnomes, Teal, Ash, Dia, Bramble, Rain, Loam, Shale, Violet, and Shopkeeper Oak!
Added a stylized transition screen
Added Tips to the load screen
Added Sleep Animation for fairies
Added effect to Upgrade screen/in-game bulletin board
Added outside lighting to houses
Added outside lighting to the shop
Added a dive animation for Water Fairy Rain
Redesigned Cave sprites
Redesigned Waterfall sprite
Added more animations for the shopkeeper
Redesign the character selection UI
added ability to swap through characters through character selection UI with arrows
Changed shop soundtrack
Selected items in the shop now highlight
The shopkeeper now plays animations in the shop
Added foreground effect
Redesigned in in-game grassy border
Added light to the player at night
Tweaked nighttime darkness
Added lighting to mushrooms
Bug Fixes & General changes to gameplay

Things to look out for after updating
Save files: Any saves from before this update will not work correctly. We apologize, until the save system is finished in future updates, you’ll need to start a fresh save.
Bugs: As always, new updates can introduce new issues. Please report any bugs you encounter, and we’ll squash them as we work toward the next update!
