灵拳 Spirit X Strike changes
It has been one full year since the Early Access launch of Spirit X Strike.
Today, I was surprised to discover that more than 15,000 Fighters around the world have joined us on this journey. I have the support, encouragement, and enthusiasm of so many players by my side. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has played and supported Spirit X Strike.
With the Dragon Boat Festival just around the corner, I’d like to wish everyone a wonderful holiday! To celebrate, the game will be available at 15% OFF for three weeks, with the discount running until July 10, when the Steam Summer Sale comes to an end.
Development Update: The Road to Version 1.0
Although updates have been quiet for a while, please don’t worry. I haven’t disappeared, and development has never stopped.
The remaining content planned for Spirit X Strike consists of major story expansions that are deeply connected to the game’s main narrative. Rather than releasing them piece by piece, I decided to complete all of the remaining promised updates and present them together as a full Version 1.0 release.
After six months of focused development, Version 1.0 is now roughly 90% complete. I’m currently working on the game’s final climactic chapter, followed by optimization and polish across all existing content.
My goal is to deliver the complete experience of Spirit X Strike this summer and give this passionate, long-running journey the finale it deserves.
With the anniversary here, I’d also like to share some of the latest development progress with everyone.
A New Adventure Continues
In the upcoming chapter, Carter and Irina venture deep into the mountains in search of medicinal herbs, only to come under attack from the mysterious Woodling.
These enemies are highly agile and possess powerful restraining abilities. Fortunately, Irina will accompany Carter throughout these battles, providing combat support while also stepping in with healing when things get dangerous.
New Boss: Windling
A new character will make her debut in the upcoming chapter: Windling, the general serving under Lord Tiger • Victor. As one of the key figures standing in our way, she will also become a formidable boss that players must overcome.
Windling possesses a unique Wind Energy that can be concentrated into her arms to form razor-sharp wind blades capable of slicing and piercing through enemies. Fast, relentless, and highly mobile, she moves like the wind itself, making this battle one of the most intense confrontations yet.
Spirit Mimicry Evolution — Spirit Awakening
The Spirit Mimicry from the Early Access version has evolved into an entirely new transformation: Spirit Awakening.
This new form features:
A brand-new transformation animation (hand-crafted by me, of course!)
A completely redesigned activation system
A dedicated energy gauge separate from the Spirit tied to your HP bar
Once Spirit Awakening is activated, players gain a variety of powerful benefits, including:
Hyper Armor
Increased action storage capacity
Enhanced combat performance
The more aggressively you attack during Spirit Awakening, the stronger your attacks become, accompanied by increasingly explosive visual effects. Overall, the new system should feel significantly more impactful and satisfying than before.
Development of the full release has entered its final stretch.
There are still plenty of new mechanics, features, and content that I can’t wait to share with you in the coming weeks. As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts on these updates, and if you have any memorable moments from your time with the game, feel free to join the official Discord and share with us.
Thank you again for your continued support, and see you soon in Version 1.0!
