Repeated intro
Hello fighters! We’ve just released a new update that focuses on tuning the stagger mechanics for Kai, Stone Kai, and Eileen. We’ve also improved Stone Kai’s AI behavior to make the boss fight more engaging and better balanced. Full patch notes are below. V0.503 Patch Notes [Adjustments]
Adjusted stagger mechanics for Kai in Chapter 3: Spirit mimicry can now reliably trigger stagger
Adjusted stagger behavior for Eileen in Chapter 4: Players can now follow up with combos after triggering small staggers
Stone Kai (Chapter 5), Stagger & Stun System Overhaul:
Non-glowing attacks can now trigger attack offset and stagger, heavy attacks in Carter’s combos can also trigger stagger
Stone Kai’s stun threshold has been lowered
Carter now deals proper stun damage while Kai is staggered
Spirit mimicry now correctly applies stun damage to Kai
Final execution will only trigger if Kai’s HP is below 40% and he is stunned; otherwise, a normal Super Strike will occur
Defeating Stone Kai now requires a final execution
Carter’s hit recovery timings adjusted: All hit reactions can now be canceled slightly earlier for smoother responsiveness
Spirit Mimicry healing adjustment: Healing amount is now affected by the amount of Spirit gauge when activated
[Fixes]
Fixed a bug where Kai could be knocked out of bounds in Chapter 3
Fixed ground collision issues in the Chapter 5 environment
Fixed an issue with camera blur effects and improved overall game stability
Fixed incorrect animations for super stike and throw counters in Chapters 3, 4, and 5 boss battles
