Joining Steam Next Fest!
Hello! I'm Nemora, the developer of Spirit Dungeon. I'm excited to announce that Spirit Dungeon will be participating in the Steam Next Fest June 2026 Edition, running from June 15-22!
This is my first announcement since the demo launch. To celebrate joining the Next Fest, I'd like to share the Demo v1.2.0 major update released today, along with the key improvements I've made over time.
Demo v1.2.0: Xbox Controller Support Added
The Demo v1.2.0 update released today adds Xbox controller support.
All UIs support gamepad input - from the title screen, battles, dungeon exploration, catalog, deck building, to the inventory
Refreshed player character sprites and animations
If you've been waiting to play with a controller, please give this major update a try!
Major Updates So Far
Thank you to everyone who has played the demo. I've made many improvements along the way. Here are the highlights you can check out during the Next Fest.
Dungeon Dash
Added a dash function that lets you move quickly through dungeons. Exploration is now much smoother.
Expanded Language Support
Added 5 new languages (Russian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German, French) for a total of 10 supported languages.
Battle Target Highlighting
Added a highlight indicator so the attack target is immediately clear.
Other Improvements
Tutorial improvements
Enhanced wind effects on decorations (for a more lively world)
Improved inventory controls
Numerous bug fixes and stability improvements
