It's summer time! While we are quietly melting in our offices / microwave, we’re still working on Fireflies (follow us!). And we took advantage of the arrival of sunny days to gift you an update of Spirit Arena!

While we are quietly melting in our offices / microwave, we’re still working on Fireflies (follow us!). And we took advantage of the arrival of sunny days to gift you an update of Spirit Arena!

So just to stick to the festive mood, we thought it was time to make some improvements.

General gameplay:

Did you plan to surf this summer? That's good, because we have worked a lot on our waves.

Prepare to deal with hordes of enemies in shorter, more nervous games! A progressive difficulty for less frustrating parties.

  • The HP of all characters has been lowered (except the poor Croo) in order to make the games much more intense. Watch your health bar!

  • The time to switch from one form to another has been reduced.

  • All levels are now composed of 9 waves + 1 wave of boss

  • Monster spawn during boss waves has been drastically reduced for more readable combats

Interface:

Access important information at a glance! We have improved the user interface for more enjoyable sessions and better playing comfort.

  • Damage, attack speed and range are now visible ingame under the health bar.

  • The cooldown between two dashes is now clearly displayed on your character's icon.

  • Each characteristic is now underlined by the color that matches the objects.

Balancing:

Still aiming to make the game more nervous, the monsters are now more fragile, but appear in a more sustained way!

  • Many monsters have seen their HP reduced

  • Bosses now have MUCH less HP (sorry, it's our fault the former game designer fell asleep on his numeric keypad)

  • The “phases” (kinds of waves in the waves) have been deleted and won’t be missed
