Good afternoon!

I've updated the game's demo today with a good chunk of bug fixing and some new features! I've been wanting to surface some more information that could be helpful, or exciting, in a few different interfaces. And there were some quality of life controls I wanted to add in.

Bestiary

  • Shows some base stats for the Grainwraith, the discovered types, and the bosses.

  • Each entry is a "???" until the cutscene introducing them is displayed. To that, people that have already played past the cutscenes wont have those Grainwraiths displayed unless they play the corresponding mission again.

World Map

  • You can now click to speed past the zoom-in animation sequence, and improved a little bit of the responsiveness of opening the Mission Info popups.

  • Mission Info now displays the region, region number, map number, and map name. Example:

Arborglen 1 - 1

First Spire.

This info is now also on the Mission Victory/Defeat screens.

  • Mission info now displays the number of Ancient Knowledge discoveries there are left in the mission.

Mission Results UI

  • The Mission Victory/Defeat screens display more information and present your Wave Complete Stars in a nice little animation.

  • The Mission Victory/Dfeat screen has a button in the top left that will hide/show the screen, allowing you a more clear picture of the defense you've created.

Gatherers

  • Gatherers queueing system upgraded to now support queueing Ancient Knowledge. If used, you can bypass the awkward 'Knowledge now reachable, select the gatherer, tell the gatherer to get the knowledge, then wake the gatherer back up to work'.

  • Shift + RMB on Trees and Knowledge to queue them. (Doing so a second time will remove them from the queue)

  • Gatherers no longer auto-harvest Deadroot after depleting a Heartwood node.

  • Added the ability to right-click a resource node a gatherer is working on, to tell them to stop harvesting it.

Bugs

  • Addressed a couple Portal bugs that would incorrectly prohibit you from building towers.

  • Gave Yaks and Spores some tooltips, (Post-localization, so these have no strings yet)

  • Yaks should no longer be able to float across the sky to other islands.

  • Messed with the Menu screen a little bit, trying some new stuff out.

  • Display settings now properly saved and applied between game launches.
