Spire of Chaos : Arcana Unleashed changes
Hello Everyone!
First of all, we just released a new trailer, this time focusing on the gameplay of Spire of Chaos: Arcana Unleashed! Go take a look right here:
Unfortunately, this is the last patch for our game. However, we’ve also thought of a little surprise along with this update… Discover it by reading on!
1.1 Patch Notes
Enemies
Enemies no longer damage the player in Souls-like mode when parried
The basher in the Chamber waits for the player to be in the corridor before attacking
The Lovers can no longer escape from the combat arena
The environment traps and the vine basher no longer damage the player if they’re outside of their zone
Combat
Some collision adjustments for the heavy attack
Some changes to the parry: it is now more precise and it is no longer possible to infinitely parry an enemy
Dodging after attacking has been improved to be more reactive
Timing adjustments for when Arxis is hit, it is now more coherent with the amount of damage recieved
When Arxis breaks the vine basher’s armour, she is now blown back with a new animation!
Misc
General bugfixes, mostly regarding the UI
Flowers in the environment are now animated
Respawn animation added
Credits now go faster and were changed somewhat
We’ve Added a Surprise!
We’ve added some unlockable cosmetics based on challenges to accomplish! This was very fun to make and a last little touch of magic for our Magical Girl ambiance. Open the new Cosmetics menu to learn about the challenges!

This has been the last patch for Spire of Chaos: Arcana Unleashed! We’d like to thank all the players who experienced the fruit of our three years of game development learning. We are extremely grateful for all the feedback we’ve recieved, which helped us to make our game as good as it could be and made us even more ready for our next adventures in game development. Also a big thank you to our supervisors, mentors and playtesters that helped us all along the process of our 8 months of production. This ambitious project marks the end of a big step in our lives and we’re very happy you could share this moment with us.
