addedA new way of traveling is introduced in Spellz, making the game much more seamless and highlighting various gameplay mechanics using the new 'travel altars.' Let's see what's new.
addedLet's get straight to the point. If you've ever played Spellz, you'll know that Achievements are one of the game's core mechanics. For beginners, this is what rewards you for completing a level in record time, without getting hit. The new movement system places ENORMOUS emphasis on this by suggesting restarting the level to achieve these objectives. The result is an incredibly smooth experience.
addedWith time, we realized that players were forgetting to visit the Merchant's Tavern. Yet, that's where you can buy everything! (runes, spells, health potions...) With this new update, it's sorted. There's a travel altar at the beginning of each level that allows you to go there. It's a significant change for Spellz, believe me.
addedAnd to wrap it up, we've added the altar that takes you to the world map. It's from there that you can navigate between levels.

Overview
Travel altars are now present in a few different locations:
The tavern, retry, and the world map in the achievements room.
The tavern and the world map at the beginning of each level.
There will be significant changes around these altars, mainly focusing on their visual appeal and user enjoyment. I'll keep you updated.
