New playtest, new wiki, new wildtiles... oh my!

It's a great start to the new year here, as we've brought out our third playtest build - and this one is bigger and better than any before!

addedIt's a great start to the new year here, as we've brought out our third playtest build - and this one is bigger and better than any before! We've got daily flights with a leaderboard, in addition to a tutorial mode, and a good chunk of the base game across both the Way of Fire and the Way of Song. It's free for all to access right from the main page - tell your friends!
addedWe've also got a brand new wiki kindly hosted by wiki.gg - made by Char and a bunch of our amazing playtesters, you can find it here .
addedAnd, of course, what kind of new playtest would it be if we weren't adding in more and more wildtiles?! Martin has been outdoing himself over the last 2 days, and we've got 5 new wildtiles in this current build - come on in and try them out!
addedNew tiles: Lucky Break (common): Destroy X tiles of the suit played with. Seeds (common): Draw 3 tiles of the suit played with. Early Bird (common): Make a tile sticky. Exaltation (song): Remove all fire on self and apply that amount as song to all opponents. Firestarter (fire): Remove all fire on self and apply that amount of fire to all opponents.

We've also been hard at work fixing the bugs reported from our wonderfully diligent community (we love you guys!). Here's the latest changelog from the last few days of fixes:

Patch notes, v0.3.14, 2026-01-06

  • New tiles:

    • Lucky Break (common): Destroy X tiles of the suit played with.

    • Seeds (common): Draw 3 tiles of the suit played with.

    • Early Bird (common): Make a tile sticky.

    • Exaltation (song): Remove all fire on self and apply that amount as song to all opponents.

    • Firestarter (fire): Remove all fire on self and apply that amount of fire to all opponents.

  • Changes in occurence:

    • Mittens removed from playtest

  • Buffs stop firing if boss is dead

  • Added tiny sound for buff created & even tinier for added to buff

  • Disabled time bonus after progression run

  • Add “sticky” tiles mechanic for Early Bird

  • Fix Zen Mode

  • Reword the “immune to fire for 2 turns” so it’s accurate to the way hitting with fire knocks it down.

  • Fix outlines being on even if things can’t be clicked

  • Added “Loading…” label to loading screen

  • Tiles in the reward menu now have a mouse over tooltip

Known issues

  • Pausing the game while some animations are running causes bosses to get sick?!

  • Sometimes there are layer issues in the interface
